he former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has filed a suit before the Federal High Court in Abuja seeking an order for the nullification of his banishment and his release from detention and confinement. Respondents to the application are Attorney-General of Kano State, Attorney-General of the Federation, the InspectorGeneral of Police and the director-general of the Department of State Service (DSS).
