Going for Gold: Celebrating 250 years of the Doncaster Gold Cup

‘Going for Gold’ celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Doncaster Gold Cup horse race, which is the oldest continuing regulated horse race in the world. The display brings together art and artefacts from the collection of Doncaster Museum Service and Doncaster Borough Archives, including some of the gold cups awarded to the winners. Helen Hardman Exhibition ‘Hell Here’ – 10am – 4pm

Helen’s artwork is about her struggle with mental health issues. She suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, an illness that causes the sufferer to hear voices, become paranoid & suffer delusions.
