At Your Service

You can submit any work orders or maintenance requests using the Housing Portal located in my.Butler by using the following steps.

› Log in using your Butler SSO credentials.

› Click on the “Submit a Work Order” tab and select “New Work Order.”

› Select “My Room” and click on your Room Number; select the Category & Item.

› Include a detailed description and possible cause of the issue. Try to answer the What, When, Where, How.

› Once all information has been typed in, click “Submit Work Order.”

For Your Safety

Our staff takes many precautions to foster a safe living environment. Your room comes with life safety equipment that must stay plugged in and never tampered with including smoke detectors, sprinklers, strobes, sounders, and fire extinguishers (in the hallways).

As a member of our community, you play an important role in maintaining the safety of our community!

› All entry and exit doors should remain closed at all times. Use your Butler ID to enter your specific building and do not let others follow you inside.

› Keep your room and pod doors locked at all times and do not give your key to anyone else.

› Save the University Police Department’s number in your phone:

› 317-940-9999 (FOR EMERGENCIES)

› 317-940-9396 (for non-emergencies)
