This Tib Street venue has for years now been bringing stellar performances by artists from the worlds of Jazz, Folk, Gypsy, Electro, Swing, World and even a little bit of Ska, who all love playing this special, intimate little venue.

Samuel C. Lees has emerged as one of the UK’s most exciting and entertaining Gypsy guitar players. Samuel’s performances combine an eclectic mix of Gypsy standards, Swing 42 and Djangoligy, (and modern songs such as Valerie by the Zutons and Wishing Well by Free) and his own original compositions.

BUY ART FAIR IS DELIGHTED TO WELCOME ASIA TRIENNIAL AND NOISE FESTIVAL TO OUR FAIR WITH SPECIALLY STAGED EXHIBITIONS FOR OUR VISITORS TO ENJOY. ASIA TRIENNIAL MANCHESTER Bashir Makhoul – “House of Cards” This new collection is based on imagery from his contribution to the 55th Venice Biennale exhibition last year. The paintings are a depiction of parts of his installation “The Occupied Garden” and represent a form of iconic souvenirs of the cardboard city. Also included in the exhibition are six largescale textiles that each features a bullet hole. Part of Asia Triennial Manchester. Bashir is also exhibiting a large-scale installation at IWM North. Both exhibitions are part of this year’s festival. With support from Birmingham City University.

THE MANCHESTER CONTEMPORARY This is the sixth edition of The Manchester Contemporary, an art fair that has evolved from the need to show and sell the works of critically engaged emerging artists to a burgeoning audience of collectors and curators from the North and beyond.
