When we came to Jason and the Hoffman Ranch, we were looking for Hereford bulls to breed our Angus-based cows. In our operation we do a little of everything. We have two feedlots, a cow/calf herd, and we background and breed heifers. The feedlot is our largest component of the business, and most cattle are harvested on the grid. These heifers are off the top of the Lee Ranch F1 Females, they have not been picked over. Lee’s buy extremely high quality maternal based Hereford bulls from us.
Females will not be at sale site. They will be at Fred Brothers south of Sargent NE. If you would like to look at them ahead of time, please let us know. Fred Brothers can be kept there until grass as an option. We will sell in groups of 10 with the option to roll down in increments of 10 as far as you would like per group.
