Teamsmustbereadybythecorrectpitchforapromptstart. Rock,paper,scissorswilldecidewhostarts/choiceofends. Theteamconcedingthetrycanchoosetokickorreceive.
InaccordancewiththeEnglandRugbyNewRulesofPlay,thiswillbeaFestival ofRugby.Allteamswillbeencouragedtoplaygoodattackingrugby,andtoplay thegameinthecorrectspirit.
OneplayerfromeachteamwillbeawardedtheBeechwoodParkTREDSmedal, recognisingindividualswhohavebestdemonstratedtheRFU’scorevaluesof Teamwork,Respect,Enjoyment,Discipline,andSportsmanship.
OneteamwillbepresentedtheBeechwoodParkSpiritofRugbyaward,chosen bytheindependentreferees.Thisawardwillgototheteamwhobest demonstratedtheRFU’sTREDSvalues.
Squadsmayconsistofamaximumof10players.Coachesareexpectedto provideanequalamountofgametimetoallplayers. Intheeventofakit/colourclash,bibswillbeprovided.
Rollingsubstitutionsarepermittedandsubstitutedplayerscanreturnatany time. The coach should inform the referee if they are about to make a substitution.

After the group stages teams will be ranked 1-4 depending on where they finish in their group:
Those who finish 1st in their group will play on pitch 3.
Those who finish 2nd in their group will play on pitch 4.

Priortomatches,safetydiscussionsbetweenopposingcoacheswilltakeplace aswellasapitchinspection.
All pupils will have their studs checked and will be expected to wear a mouthguard.
Nodangerousplaywillbetolerated.
Concussionandsuspectedconcussionaretakenveryseriously;anychildwho suffersaheadknockwillbecheckedbyourmedicalteam.
Theeventisbeingphotographedandwillbesharedonsocialmedia.
FirstAidwillbeavailablenexttotheresultsdeskinthegazeboontheback field.
Please ensure any of your players with asthma or allergies have their necessarymedication.
Weareanutfreeschool,thereforepleasedonotbringfoodcontainingnuts onsite.
Spectators are politely reminded to support in an appropriate and positive manner.
Parents and coaches tea will be served in the Pavilion from 15:00-16:00.
A grab and go match tea will be available for all players at the end of the tournament.
A toilet for parents is located at the back of the cricket pavilion For safeguarding reasons, pupil toilets are not accessible to parents. Please make sure children remove boots when entering the cricket pavilion. While we warmly welcome assistance dogs, we kindly remind visitors that other dogs are not permitted on site. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
