Sinopsis - Familiefaren Pål Eikrem lever et liv med den uhelbredelige nervesykdommen ALS. Han har kun øynene igjen å kommunisere med, resten av kroppen er lammet. Pål er fanget i sin egen kropp og er avhengig av hjelp døgnet rundt, men tiltross for det har han valgt å forlenge livet sitt med respirator. Selv om sykdommens fysiske belastninger fører til at Pål kan ha tunge tanker, kaller han seg selv en ukuelig optimist. Filmen følger Pål i hverdagen som kamerat, sønn, ektemann og far.

Sinopsis - A tap dancer performs, while elsewhere people run from the tear gas of the police. Two worlds apart if it wasn’t for an unexpected opening in the floor, right in front of the dancer... She decides to jump, and lands in the middle of the social protests in Istanbul. The dancer witnesses the people’s fight for personal freedom and living space, and takes the opportunity to transform her dance into a statement of solidarity.

He subsequently performed in several theatres in Germany and played various roles in film and television. Benjamin then began to look into the work of a director and shortly after started developing the script to his directorial debut “Ameisenpakt” (ants pact).
Sinopsis - Paul is 16 years old and earns his pocket money working the streets. Fleeting encounters shape his daily routine, until he comes across a group of teenagers that teach him the lesson that nobody can run away from their problems. But Paul has made a pact. A pact with some ants. An „Ameisenpakt,” which questions the strict patterns of our reality. The boundaries between reality and imagination are shaking and Paul creates himself a world in which he feels at home.

Sinopsis - Geir, alias The book man, is 28 years old and collects books. Many books. He had to open a book shop to house them. In the small Norwegian town of Volda, his book shop grows and grows. His semi-autistic personality has him solving the Rubik´s cube in 20 seconds, he plays chess with himself, and he reads 2000 novels per year. That´s 5,6 per year! Is he the fastest reader in the world? In “Bokmannen” we follow Geir for a full week. Not much happens, except a lot of Rubik´s cube, a lot of chess, and a labyrintic mayhem of books. Will Bokmannen make it thgrough the week? Where are his customers? Through fly-on-the-wall perspective, mixed with POV and animation, we experience an intense week in Geir´s shop. 13

Sinopsis - “The Sonata” is a film based on the well Leo Tolstoy novel “The Kreutzer Sonata”. Every intervention which is pressed into this has been for a intention only to explain the plain logic perception for circumstances in Kosovo. The love which holds two very different characters in everyday bases starts to build unsatisfying problems which these character attack each other drawing lines with questions such as: “What is love?”, “What is marriage?” “How long do they last?” Can they be treated with time, years, months, days, and hours. These come to be explained from each characters point of view.

The film is formed like a book, in three chapters with a special emphasis on text and voice.

Sinopsis - “Gulosten – gangsteren som ble kongens venn “ is the story of the gangster Johannes “Gulosten” Andersen who became friends with Haakon VII, the King of Norway, during World War II. Johannes Andersen was in the 1920s and 30s the most notorious criminal in Norway, but through extraordinary historical and personal coincidences during WWII, he ended up as a personal friend of Haakon VII, the King of Norway. The documentary raises the question: How could a notorious criminal like “Gulosten” get away with murder? How could he end up being protected by the King and parliament after the war, and even get a timber factory as a gift from the King of Norway, after killing two defenseless people in peacetime?

After her training at the Conservatoire Municipal de Paris, Magaajyiah attended the Playhouse West Repertory Theater School and made her acting debut in Jin’naariya (Cannes Short Corner 2014, Fespaco 2015).

The fetch
9:54min / Short Movie / UK Director bio - After completing a Phd in Comparative Literature, I spent some years teaching foreign languages and doing short films on a DIY basis. Aiming at a proper education in Filmmaking, I eventually moved to London in order to study in the Met Film School (based at the legendary Ealing Studios). Before moving to London I shot several medium lenght films with my own students. The idea was to play with the big genres of cinema, like we did in the musical film Amore ossoleto (Obsolete Love) or in the peplum movie Roma è troppo lontana (Rome is too too far).
Sinopsis - Two apparently unrelated men keep on bumping into each other. When they finally get to talk, they become mysteriously entangled. A film about bicycles, coincidences and the fragile boundaries of human identity.

Sinopsis - Martin is a teacher at a local high school. He thinks of himself as a good educator, but his own son begins to rebel against him. One day both drive to school together and get into a bad row over Bastian going on a camping vacation with his buddies. Soon after, Bastian’s classmate Tom starts to shoot people in their school. Martin can stop the killing by volunteering to drive an escape car for Tom. During the escape, a harsh psychological duel begins between the teacher and the crazed student.

Synopsis - A lonely forest machine driver Seppo receives an e-mail from a mysterious woman called Zahra, who asks for help with her money problems. Seppo’s best friend Jussi claims that the message is a hoax, a so called nigerian letter, but Seppo decides to trust his heart for once. Seppo answers to Zahra and soon finds himself head over heels in love and in danger. A short film about love, hope, faith and forest management.

35 min / Kosovo / 2014 Director - Arian Mustafa Directors bio - Arian Mustafa, born on 20 July 1977, in Prishtina, Kosova, joined the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Arts - Movie Directing, in 2008.Currently is finishing his 4th and final year of studies with success.
Synopsis - A youth, Rrahim, 15 years old, is the “star” of LIVES. He is from Kosovo’s Ashkali community, a disadvantaged and often discriminated against minority. Rrahim hears in school about life expectancy and realizes that this is different for different people. Rrahim wants to understand why he, his friends, his family will live shorter lives than their neighbors – for the stark reality is that Ashkalis along with Roma and Egyptians in Kosovo live on average at least 10 years shorter lives than the majority community. This becomes Rrahim’s exploration – his effort to understand why. We will follow him as he meets different people to question them, to increase his understanding. We see Rrahim in his family, with his grandfather, school friends, talking with families who have lost a loved one recently, exploring dates on cemetery headstones, talking with kids. We also meet doctors and other health professionals, as well as the Minister of Health of Kosovo. Gradually, Rrahim learns some of the reasons that may account for this health and human rights catastrophe facing the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in Kosovo.
