Drawing & Painting DREAMING IN COLOUR 2 with Virginia Reid Are you interested in exploring painting in a style between realism and abstraction? Drawing inspiration from a range of expressionist painters who were more concerned with their emotional responses than an objective reality, this class will help you draw and paint expressively with your own painting signature. PLANT LIFE DRAWING 2 with Virginia Reid

Following on from Plant Life Drawing1, we will continue to explore plants and natural forms through a variety of mediums and processes. Experimenting with a range of drawing and painting techniques, exploring composition, mark-making and materiality, students will be guided through working on both small format to large scale compositions. BREATHING THE LAND 1 with Virginia Reid This art course will focus on deepening our relationship to the landscape we inhabit. We will make use of materials from the landscape to respond to country and incorporate a range of modalities including meditation, walking, observation, drawing, painting and assemblage. WATERCOLOUR: LIGHT, BRIGHT AND FRESH with Harry Westera Light, Bright and Fresh are natural qualities of the translucent, flowing medium of watercolour painting. But sometimes our tones and colours can look muddy and overworked, washed out or too dark. Over two Saturdays, we will look at the processes, techniques, colours and mindset which help to better express the vitality and beauty of this versatile medium.
