BEY'S STRAIGHT TALK MARKETING JOURNAL
How to Create a Warm List From Cold Prospects Greetings Everyone, In this issue we will examine the subject of How to Create a Warm List From Cold Prospects. Let me explain how I do this with offline strategies because, this is what has worked formed very well to generate leads for several years. Now, there is an investment with this method of generating leads using offline sources. Here are my basic costs: 1. $50.00-$85.00 for a 15 word classified ad in a national opportunity magazine. 2. $19.58 for a voice mail box. 3. The cost of postage and printing. My classified ad is placed under the heading of Business Opportunities in the publication. Most of the business opportunity magazines publish bi-monthly, that is, once every months= 6 times each year. This means your ad is good for at least two months. However, most of the responses will come in the first three weeks. Step 1 - Here is one of the ads I use to generate leads in these opportunity publications: ARE MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITY SELLERS RIPPINGYOU OFF? Recorded Message This ad pulls very well in these opportunity publications. Here is why: Very simply, most of the people who read threads in these publications have lost money on as-called money making opportunity. These are the people I am targeting with my ad.

This is my first step in warming them up. The message on my voice mail makes them curious enough to leave their name, address and phone number. If you would like to hear my message just call my voice mailbox at: 1-412 734-5844. Step 2 - When people leave their name and address, I send them a short report titled: The Seven Biggest Secrets the Money Making Opportunity Sellers Don't Want you to Know! I also include a second page with the headline: Let Me Help You Find the Money Making Opportunity That is Just Right for You In this short one page letter, I introduce myself, give them a little information about my marketing experience, and tell them how my report titled: Helpful Cash Raising Ideas and Opportunities . . . Can help them find a legitimate home business opportunity. I ask for a small cash payment to receive this information. This helps me cover the cost of postage. Step 3 - When a prospect sends for this report, I also include a short survey to find out what type of opportunities(s) they might be interested in learning more about. Here's what I say at the top of the survey: "ADVISORY SERVICES FOR NEW HOME BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURS! _____Yes Greg, it makes perfect sense to me to learn as much as I can about what it will take for me to build my own home based business. I realize the importance of having someone with experience like you who will give me some Honest Straight Talk about what the moneymaking opportunity industry is all about. As matter of fact, your service will be Free forone full month toshare the valuable experience that you have learned going back to 1991. It would be foolish of me to pass up your generous offer to bone of the first 50 to take advantage of this Special opportunity. Onthatbasis, I am filling out the short form below and returning it to you to receive your advisory services Free for one full month!" When a person returns the survey and accepts my advisory services, I have turned a COLD Lead into a potential life time customer. The survey tells me what the prospect is interested in and wants to know more about.

When I find out what the prospect is interested in learning more about I can offer them the appropriate information from the reports on a CD-ROM. I have the resale rights to a CD-ROM with 750reports booklets and manuals that cover over 30subjects to choose from including: Business, Health, Hobbies, Crime and Sports just to name a few. This short process is what is known as a marketing funnel. By returning the survey, the person has given me permission to contact them with more information to help them by providing them information based on my experience, then I can continue building the relationship by offering them information on the subjects they are interested in. By placing my ad in print publications, I have far better chance of my ad being seen by my target prospect. Right now, I have 45 potential subscribers contact info. On my voicemail box all from one small ad in a print publication. I can continue to follow up with these prospects throughout the year. This gives me a far better chance of getting them to be paying customers. Well, that's it for this issue and I hope to see you next time. Visit the link below for full details on this special offer.
