What we hope to accomplish Our mission at Airbrush Society with collaboration from Airbrush Dojo is to change the way people view airbrushing. We are more than just t-shirts and commercial art. We are here create, improve, inspiring the generation of artist. We will critic and offer solutions on improving our skills as artist, business, and entrepreneurs. Hard working father and artist, Rodney K. Sims enjoys utilizing airbrush techniques with mixed media on a variety of surfaces such as metal, fabrics, illustration boards etc. He enjoys subjects involving humor, animation, science fiction and comics. Originally a commercial art major with an advertising minor in college, I thought my life was planned out fairly well but life has a way of taking the scenic route to get to your destination. A 20 year detour through the Air Force jungle lead me astray from art to painting other things such as buildings, office walls, crosswalks and military aircraft. Then a career merger with aircraft sheet metal drastically altered my life plans and not for the better. During the next 2 decades, the thirst for creativity always beckons at my existence. Different projects over the years popped up from canvas mural designs to graphic designs on metal. The highlight of those projects was the multi wall murals at Barksdale Air Force Base Accessories Flight Building in Bossier City Louisiana. With the aid of my family we service festivals and trade days throughout north-western Louisiana area.

An Awesome Woman of Airbrushing: Sandtra Goggins I always try to meet other Airbrush Artist who have the same desire of the business like I do. Just like Broadway Stage Play performers, the people we see on the big screen, our favorite TV shows we tell stories with our Art Form. Whether it’s on a t-shirts, a helmet, on canvas or even a mural we are telling our customers story. We at Airbrush Dojo would like to share Sandtra Goggins story in print. She has inspired me! So let me introduce you to my new friend. Sandtra Goggins started airbrushing in 1989. She self-taught herself in airbrushing. She studied art at Atlanta College of Art where she studied Photography and Fine Arts. From there she went to Phillips Junior College and received her Associates degree in Computer Programming. She found out that Corporate America was not in her blood. Many artist I have known over the years have discovered the same think. Artist think different. We think outside the box. We use Creativity and try to inspire others. In 1993, she opened up her first Airbrush Shop part time in a Flea Market. She never looked back, and I am so glad she didn’t. Her favorite subject to airbrush are animals, mostly Wildlife. She tells these stories of her Artwork on canvas and wood as that is her favorite surface to work on. With a lot of hard work and dedication she has built a nice customer base in Atlanta, Georgia. She started airbrushing on shoes in 1996, where she started drawing on shoes in high school with permanent markers as a way to make some extra money. It took off and became a hot trend in Atlanta. She has done work for TV shows and movies such as All Eyes on Me, The Braxton Family Values and many more celebrities. She oversees and Administrate on a couple of groups on Facebook. The Airbrush Society, Artist of the World and Black Female Art.

We are excited about 2016 and have done several things to make our Aqua Flow P:saints better , first we have went back to our original formula and have introduced some quality control techniques to see that our raw materials remain the same high quality we have been known for over the years. We have a new product line in peelable paints we call these "the Peelables" you are sure to find uses for them just think about what these bring to the table of the creative. Don't wait to paint that car any longer just do it now with the Peelables. All you need to do is apply 2 heavy wet coatings of Peelable Clear to the hood or whichever part of the car you want to paint. Now all you need to do is paint as you always have, it is that simple, and you can use the peelables paint to paint with or use most any other paint you like. Finish up with one or two good wet coats of Peelable Clear and you should have a nice looking high gloss image that looks like an automotive clear coating. It is totally waterproof and have additives that reduce the fading effects of the sun’s rays. We also have a wipe on wax to protect the surface from dirt and grime as well as makes it have the feel of a waxed car. The coolest thing is we have engineered in our exclusive easy peel technology so when the customer wants to remove it they simply lift up a corner and peel it away quickly. Now you see it now you don't it couldn't be easier. This is only one exciting use for the peelables don't stop here look around and you will find many places the peelables are useful like glass store fronts that peel completely in seconds, just be sure you determine how many coatings of clear you need to apply to get a quick and easy peel. Also coming soon our Peelable Clear in an easy aerosol can.
