Introducing the Canadian Institute’s INDIGENOUS ADVISORY BOARD
MISSION
Our mission is to design events that will advance joint priorities and facilitate integration and engagement between communities, industries, government and other stakeholders. The Canadian Institute understand the importance of co-designing our event content with Indigenous Communities to ensure that we are best reflecting the pressing issues facing communities in Canada today. We need to represent the diverse voices of Indigenous communities across the Nation, promote inclusiveness, and follow the lead of those most affected by the challenges discussed.
GOALS:
CHEVRON-RIGHT To provide a platform to facilitate ongoing dialogue between all stakeholders about current issues affecting Indigenous communities
CHEVRON-RIGHT To co-design our programs with Indigenous communities to ensure inclusive trauma-informed programming
CHEVRON-RIGHT To provide opportunities for Indigenous Youth to network and have their voices heard on how today’s decisions impact them in the future.
