1Cut out a few reindeer and fir tree silhouettes from the gold card with a machine cutter or by hand. Cut two to three 2cm strips of plain white card. Fold the strips in half lengthways. 2Unfold the card, and glue the tree and deer decals onto the inner side of the card, as shown. Repeat with another folded card on the reverse side of the decal.

3Bend the bottom flaps out, so the decals now stand up vertically. Trim to the size of your decal. Stick the decals onto the wooden slice, starting at the back using double-sided tape. Try to leave a bit of space between each decal. 4Glue the fake foliage in between and around the decals to cover the white card.
Helping Hand
◆ For a wintry vibe, spray-paint the die cuts and foliage white ◆ Add mini LED lights to the base of your scene for an atmospheric effect ◆ Adhere a little faux snow or white glitter over the card pieces on the base to help disguise them
