storia di una famiglia con un’unica vocazione: “le barche”
Fu “nonno Bindi”, al secolo Bernardino Feltrinelli, a fondare l’omonimo cantiere nautico, che da quasi 100 anni occupa la sua attuale sede di San Carlo a Gargnano sul Garda. Il cantiere fa tutt’ora capo alla famiglia Feltrinelli, originaria del luogo e legata alle costruzioni navali fin dalla fine del ‘400. Una lunga tradizione di passione che iniziò con la costruzione di barche da pesca, per passare poi, con Egidio Feltrinelli, a quelle da corsa, con le quali i figli di Egidio vinsero varie gare, ed infine da diporto. La tradizione continua oggi con Mauro, Sergio e Dino, figli del nipote di Egidio, Fausto Feltrinelli. Es war Bernardino Feltrinelli, bekannt als “Opa Bindi”, der Gründer der gleichnamigen Bootswerft, die seit fast 100 Jahre in seinem Sitz in San Carlo in Gargnano sul Garda fortbesteht. Die Bootswerft ist heutzutage noch von der Familie Feltrinelli geleitet, die aus der Region stammt und seit dem XIII. Jahrhundert mit dem Bootsbau verbunden war. Eine lange Tradition von Leidenschaft für Boote, die mit dem Bau von Fischerboote anfing und danach mit Herrn Egidio Feltrinelli mit Rennbooten, mit denen die Kinder von Egidio zahlreiche Bootswettkämpfte gewannen, und mit Sportbooten fortgeführt wurde. Die Tradition geht heute mit Mauro, Sergio und Dino Feltrinelli, Kinder des Neffens von Egidio, Fausto Feltrinelli, weiter. It was Bernardino Feltrinelli, known as „Opa Bindi“, who founded the boat yard with the same name and that has been in the same headquarter in San Carlo in Gargnano for almost 100 years now. The boatyard is still run by the Feltrinellis, who were present in the area and bound to the boat building since the end of 13th century. A long tradition of passion that started with the fishing boats and that continued thanks to Egidio Feltrinelli with racing boats, with which Egidio’s kids won several competitions and then with pleasure crafts. Nowadays the tradition continues with Mauro, Sergio and Dino Feltrinelli, the sons of Fausto Feltrinelli, Egidio’s nephew. 30
