Early Morning I lay in the simmering green grass Watching the sky arise with happiness The sun slowly rising and creating a rainbow of red pinks and oranges The birds singing their songs and flying swiftly across the sky And the big puffy white clouds forming endless possibilities of shapes It’s as perfect as a picture Just to think Birds signing joyfully The sun slowly rising and creating a beautiful array of colors And the clouds with their wonderful shapes It is the perfect morning

Ice Cream I feel my taste bud start to dance with excitement As I lick the soft, creamy, and delicious ice cream cone The thick custard start to melt As I feel a brisk and cold drop of melted ice cream Fall onto my feet Ice cream has never tasted so good Never could it taste as good as it does now It’s burning hot outside With the concrete sizzling whenever a drop of liquid falls onto the ground How good this taste How sweet How cold How creamy I start to lick the wonderful cone Rapidly, so it doesn’t start melt And Vanish right before my eyes
