The forest Calm and serene Quiet like a dozing lion Peaceful, yet primeval The ocean Endless and turbulent Emerald green and aquamarine Roaring like a tiger The mountains Irregular and chilly Tall as the sky, enormous Lush, or barren The desert Arid and scorching Water lacking for living creatures Empty as a wasteland Nature Many sided, unique Stretches over creation A place of repose for all

Quest for Quiet Vocaroo: http://bit.ly/1Q1ajME
The hustle and bustle Crowding the day, Birthing the tension That holds so much sway. The fire and anger Exasperation and spite, Tearing apart peacefulness Ruining day and night. But all you must do Is make a sliver of space, Between all the activities And keep a good pace Oddly all us humans Perpetuate this calamity, Stubborn as bulls It is quite a tragedy Once in a while, one can listen And hear not a sound, But in this world now Those moments ae scarcely found. So take as a lesson Do not go on a hunt, For peace and quiet This path is too blunt. Go on a journey, To repair it all, Spread the word for more quiet To answer this call
