The Championship Two minutes left on the game clock, The whistle blows, his teammate gets two shots, He places his hands on his hips, He’s been breathing hard since the clock read six, They’ve come a long way this year,

The Reporter

He watches the middle infielders turn the double play, The season is over for the home team, the fans slowly clear out of the stadium, With their heads hung low, they watch the other team mob the pitcher, He writes about it, through the good time and bad,


At times he interviews the outfielder that hit the walk-off homerun, At times he interviews the pitcher who got shelled, giving up eight runs in two innings, He’s been at every game, every press conference, through all the turmoil of the long, 162-game season, It’s tough to see the season come to a close, But as one season ends, the next one begins, But only one thing is sure for next year, It will be an exciting year, and he’ll be there for every minute of it. http://vocaroo.com/i/s0pazrH7Yn6k
