When I was six Playing pick- up sticks Having fun I would laugh and run No care no worries No jobs, Mcdonald's Mcflurries Running freely A caution, but merely When I was six, Life was so simple No popping pimples; Not judging by looks And picture books
At six years old Doing what told Playing Parcheesi, Life was so easy

Every day he stays in one spot Many people say it is a tree I know it is a man I have evidence for it all; In the summer he is a happy man He plays with all his leaves, That he has gathered over time, He stays bright, proud, and lively. In the autumn he is a sad man, He lets everything he has go, He starts to hunch over the ground, All his leaves fall to the floor, In defeat and failure. In the winter he has nothing left,
He has nothing to do so he stays put, He doesn't move,
He just thinks and waits. In the spring he regains his strength, Re-growing to his old self, He regrows his leafs while grinning, As proud as ever, He stands straight and tall above all others. If you don't believe me, Well‌. You're wrong.

They wander in and they wander out Why does it matter to me? My life is the same everyday Living in the pet shop She comes to give me food And then lingers back to her desk My parents have been stolen By the people who come "buy pets" Trapped in my jail cell Every day I am a bunny Whose life, Torn away.
