Tree Audio for Poem When the tree was born, it was quite a bright day The earth was wet beneath him. He was extremely small, and saw giants looming over him. But as small as he was, he could still feel himself growing.
He saw many of his brothers and sisters on his journey to the sky, He grew hair on his head and his arms, and his body became large and strong. Yet he grew still.
Eventually, he stopped growing. After this, his life was not very exciting. Sure, he danced on random nights, But he just stood, with birds in his arms and animals near his feet.
The Wonders of Life Audio for Poem There are many wonders in life, Not the wonders of the world, nothing like that. Those are much too simple. No, I'm talking about real wonders, real questions.
Why is grass green, not blue or orange? Why can't dogs speak English, but we can? Why does pizza taste so good, whereas other food can taste oh, so bad? Why do trees grow tall, instead of remaining petite?
And yet there are even more questions, Why is earth the only planet to inhabit life, but if it isn't, where else? Why do we control the world, and not kangaroos? Why are there so many questionable things?
Trying to answer all these questions, these wonders Is trying to jump from a plane into a small cup, It’s like instead of falling down, trying to fall up. Like trying to differentiate two snowflakes with the naked eye.
For one to attempt to document all these things, That is true insanity. So that's why I'm asking you, the reader, To take some time in your life to just...
Wonder.
