Sometimes I wonder What you really meant to say. What you were thinking What's going on inside of your head? Are there gears turning Or are you frantically running about finding words Sometimes I wonder What you mean by those words Whether I should hide out in the back of my mind Or laugh along What I should say Sometimes I wonder What you really think of me What do I think of you? Life the stormThe wind howls its tempest shrieks Flying this way and that Scattering innocent figures When the current blows you to one sideThat is where you stay You cannot control it. Day after day the storm continues Leaving a trail of decisions A dividing line of happiness from hurtHow fine it is When you get thrown to the ground With mud caked on your hands Are you on the right side? Probably notFor luck is a storm

I'm hiding behind a tree But you don't see me I walk out into the open air You brush me away You sit down under a tree with a book I watch you On the other side I mirror your every move I don’t have a book So I look At you I am your echo I should probably leave
