DIFFUSION TEA PACKAGING

COMPANY CONCEPT Diffusion tea company is a new branch of a coffee distributer located in Nashville, Tennessee that produces various types of top of the line fresh herbal oxidized teas. It is packaged in a biodegradable container that does not leave a foot print on earth, so tea will be readily available for years to come. Sustainability is extremely important within the design of Diffusions offices because the earth is what creates the resources used in teas that the company makes and the consumer enjoys. The company strives to provide quality tea that invigorates the senses and opens the mind. The bold and minimalistic packaging is what draws the consumer in, and the tea is what keeps the consumer coming back for more. We strive to provide employees a stimulating work space that keeps them engaged, focused, and creative. If the employees are not engaged within the space, the packaging design greatly suffers. It is important for the company to provide a diffusion of ideas, a transparency of philosophies, and a harmonious community.
DESIGN INTENT With a creative and thought provoking space, Diffusion can ensure that employees are creating the most efficient and innovative designs that will

draw consumers in. Diffusion is the idea of spreading something from one space to another. One of the key aspects of Diffusions design is to incorporate diffusion into the space. In the work areas, sections of glass curtain walls will have a natural organic leaf pattern that will diffuse light in a more psychologically pleasing pattern. Design details include organic and curvilinear shapes that mimic the diffusion of tea. This also allows offices to be open to employees so the diffusion of ideas is spread throughout the office to promote creativity. Similar to diffusion, transparency will be incorporated into the space. Curtain walls will be used to separate the work stations from the offices so employees are encouraged to interact with each other regardless of position. Harmonious community is vital in office spaces to make sure that everything runs smoothly. The curved dropped ceiling details emphasize certain spaces to include everyone and promote collaboration between the employees. Through these design details, Diffusion Tea Company can ensure that the product continues to draw in customers, and keep them coming back for more.
