We have made preparations to bid and buy livestock through Superior Productions’ “Call or ClickTo-Bid” service for those unable to attend in person on sale day. Please note that all of the lots in the sale will also be available for viewing online prior to sale day at www.superiorlivestock.com.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS TURN IN BIDS OVER THE PHONE. This is our traditional method of buying livestock. To get started simply go online to www.superiorlivestock.com and click on the tab titled “Register for a Buyer Number”. Select the registration form for Superior Productions and print the registration form, fill it out and fax it in to Superior Productions at (817) 378-3380 with a signature on it, or scan and email the form to info@superiorauction.com. You can also mail it in to the address provided on the form. Upon receipt of this information Superior will call you with a buyer’s number and the bid line phone number that you will use on sale day to place bids over the phone. CLICK-TO-BID. This is Superior’s online bidding platform for cattle buying. Please note that high speed internet is required – this is not for dial-up or satellite internet. Registration is free, but you must become a member of www.superiorclicktobid.com to sign up. ROCKY MOUNTAIN LONGHORNS• CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO Ranching is Tom’s main past time; however, working in the construction industry has been his full-time career. He currently owns and operates an Interior Finishes business and Supply flooring (carpet, tile, wood, cabinets, etc.) company to builders. He has been Chairman of the Board for the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association for two years, trying to continue the growth of the TLBAA and its customer service. HOME BRANCH RANCH • MANNING, SOUTH CAROLINA Ricky is president of Piggly Wiggly Central, Inc. He and his family own 13 grocery stores – a complete family-owned business. Ricky’s father started the business in the 1950’s. Ricky also owns three Mac’s Place, Spirit and Liquor stores. He decided to open the first one because he had an empty building and it grew from there. Ricky’s other business is a restaurant named after his Grandmother, “Willie Sue’s”. He opened the business three years ago. It features a wood fire grill that serves steaks, seafood, ribs, and chicken. Fun Fact: “I love to cook, and I always cook from scratch!”

LEONARD NEW RIVER LONGHORN RANCH • GALAX, VIRGINIA Tyson Leonard is a retired entrepreneur and innovator in the storage building and truck accessory business. He got into the Longhorn business in 1991 after winning a card game. He became heavily involved within the industry, even starting the popular Blue Ridge Breeders Production Sale that was very successful for years. Fun Fact:“I once sold a cow for $3,000 at one sale and bought her back less than a year later for $17,000 at another sale.”

ALLEN RANCH • HARPER, TEXAS Ursula and late husband, John, began their Longhorn journey in 1992, building a magnificent set of cattle at their ranch in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. In 2007, a group of prominent Longhorn breeders formed the Texas Longhorn Marketing Alliance with the purpose of promoting the Texas Longhorn breed, attracting new people to the industry, and creating a series of events that will provide an enjoyable and rewarding working atmosphere for all Longhorn breeders. Since its inception, the TLMA has experienced explosive growth in membership, has acquired and revived the Texas Longhorn Journal magazine, and has created the Longhorn World Championship and eLonghornsales.com. With this growth, the TLMA recognized the importance of renewing the mission to fully serve the Longhorn breeders. In 2016, the TLMA became the Texas Longhorn Cattle Association to reflect the future of the industry and to introduce an ever-growing range of services including the Texas Longhorn Cattle Association Registry. Our Mission: To preserve the dignity and integrity of the Texas Longhorn Breed and to serve as voluntary stewards of the Longhorn Legacy. INTERNATIONAL TEXAS LONGHORN ASSOCIATION The International Texas Longhorn Association is a not for profit organization that was created with the purpose of the development, registration, and promotion of the Texas Longhorn breed of cattle. It is believed the Texas Longhorn breed of cattle can make an important contribution to the improvement of the cattle industry throughout the world. This purpose may be obtained by; establishing breed standards, adopting means to assist, encourage, and educate those breeders engaged in the breeding and propagation of Texas Longhorn cattle, and to assist, encourage, and educate others of the benefits of Texas Longhorn cattle, obtaining and maintaining records of the breeding and origin of all Texas Longhorn cattle through an International Texas Longhorn Association Registry, and to collect, preserve, and publish data and documents relating to the same.

BIDDING: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The consignor may set a reserve bid or bid on the animal themselves. BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final. TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash or check to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are made payable to the Hudson-Valentine Sale.
NOTICE: The purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder. PEDIGREES: The seller has furnished the information on the pedigrees of the animals announced.
POSSESSION: Immediately after the animal is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession cannot be obtained until payment is made.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements from the auction block take precedence over printed matter in this catalog. All cattle will be sold by lot-numbers, as announced by the auctioneer.
CERTIFICATION: A certificate of registration will be furnished and transferred to the purchaser on each lot in the sale, exclusive of calves at side, unregistered steers, and calves selling separately from the dam.
