This lesson demonstrates how to upload the credit recovery and advancement form into the Guidance and Counseling District SharePoint site. Before you can begin the upload process, the final form with student complete and grades needs to be scanned and saved as a PDF document.

Find the Credit Recovery and Redemption Forms library in the menu links on the left. Click on this library.
Counselors need to upload the final signed document for student credit recovery or advancement. These documents need to be scanned and saved as PDF documents. Go to the Guidance and Counseling Intranet site to upload your scanned document. This is the address to the Guidance and Counseling Intranet site, https://share.yisd.net/sites/ academics/guidancecouseling/

Click the Add document link.
Click the browse button to upload the PDF document from your computer.

Click the OK button to upload the document. Select the file on your computer and click the open button.

SharePoint will prompt you to provide some information for the document. You should try and provide information that would be useful in locating and identifying documents in the future.
In my example I've provided the student's name, student ID, course credit, and that it was a credit recovery course.

Select your campus from the campus pull down menu.
Select either credit recovery or credit redemption from the form submitted pull down menu.

Enter your name if you are the counselor uploading the document. Enter the student's ID in the student ID field.
Click the save button to finish the upload process.

The document will be uploaded and filed into your campus category.
Click on the category name to view documents from your campus.

Use the column headers to help sort or filter the documents. For example, use the created header to sort the documents by date uploaded or click on a date to see all documents uploaded on that date.
Use the counselor name header to sort by counselor name or to view all forms submitted by a specific counselor.

You can apply multiple sort and filter options. In this example the form submitted header and the counselor name are used to filter for all credit recovery documents uploaded by Lorenzo Reyes.
