Visual communication at its best A Danfoss product is complex and their production setups are large and difficult to transport to conferences around the globe. Therefore, simplified product presentation is key. For the world’s largest Drives conference, Danfoss Drives, there was only one right answer: Virtual Reality.
Together with Danfoss, we have made product presentation a memorable, educational, and fun experience through real-time VR. Not only does VR provide an insight into their products, but it also allows visitors to enter Danfoss’ world and see the products in their real surroundings. Thanks to VR, the visitors can physically reach out for Danfoss’ products, take them apart and turn them around to see every little detail.

But with the creative approach of our 3D-artists, we have flipped the process and created a stunning atmosphere to surround the houses and match the Hellvik Hus feeling. The result is a Nordic feel to the images, which suites the houses and their future residents perfectly. Our role as stylists here enables us to take the use of CGI-imaging to a new level.
Exploring dreams Our customiser tool proves to be a valuable addition to the Hellvik Hus website. It lets future residents explore the options within the framework of their new house. The options in tract houses might appear limited at first glance, but with the customiser tool it becomes obvious just how many options you have to give the future home the perfect personal touch. But it’s not only a nice option for the customers. It’s also a powerful sales tool, which makes it a lot easier to see why you should add that beautiful granite counter top to your new kitchen.

The challenge of endless possibilities Micro Matic customers can create their own custom product with different coolers, fonts, handles etc. Also, the customers have the possibility to add their own logo or other brand-related elements to the components. The possibilities are endless. It can be a challenge to appropriately communicate such a highly customisable range of products and solutions. But we agree with Micro Matic that the best way to face and overcome this challenge is with digital configuration.
The future of configuration We have worked hard to become familiar with the products and all aspects of them in order to make the visual representations true to reality. Using modern WebGL technology, working with realtime 3D, we have created a beautiful configurator for the Micro Matic website running without any plugins or other clutter and easy to use and update with new products. This new technology with the unique possibilities it offers really is the future of configuration. The result is a smooth product configurator, which is a 1:1 representation of the Micro Matic-solutions with all their tweaks and cool features.

During the last couple of years, we have streamlined and digitalized the entire picture production of Grundfos and today all pictures and movies are created using CGI. Grundfos only delivers a drawing of the product, which we then transform into CGI images and -videos.

Grundfos turns experiences into a sales tool With Grundfos, we have created a highly participatory and visual Kinect solution, which takes Grundfos' exhibition presentation to new heights. When you talk about Grundfos, you automatically talk about water pumps. However, for Grundfos it’s not only about pumping water from A to B. It’s more about the entire journey of the water; from being pumped from the subsoil to being purified and then being pumped back into the underground. Grundfos works with systems rather than single solutions. That way it’s possible to optimize the entire process and make it as energy efficient as possible. But Grundfos faced the challenge, that this ‘journey of the water’ had to be told as an interesting story, whilst explaining the functions of the products. And finally, they wanted to equip sales staff with tools to easily paint a picture of Grundfos’ wide competences. Though they already had a ‘virtual world’-solution showing their products and how to use them, it was technically and visually outdated. Consequently, we changed the solutions completely. We made it modern, visually strong, easy for anyone to understand, and optimized it to work on all platforms. In the app Grundfos’ products and systems can be explored via five interactive islands that guide you to any information in an effortless way.

It all started with one image The people at Bygg1 had a certain image in mind which we helped them realise. A dreamlike visualization showing the endless possibilities of their catalogue in a very appealing way. This image proved how the use of digital visualization can add a new and enriching dimension to the marketing of large and unhandy items. From that first image our collaboration evolved and now includes numerous product images and the memorable AR-app.

The true power of AR Augmented reality has been around for a while. But combined with an extensive catalogue of products from Bygg1 and curious and engaged customers, we have found amazing use for the technology. With our AR-app customers can actually see how any door from the Bygg1-catalogue will look in their home before buying and bringing it home. It makes for memorable and engaging sales pitches and very happy customers.
A nice side effect When we create an AR-app it needs to hold information about all models in all colors. The nice added value of this is that it allows us to provide product images of the entire catalogue – by the click of a few buttons.
