Mentors include Keelie Nicolls, Pam Kusabs, Fiona Price, Susan Reys, Naomi Evans and Mo- nique Burkhead, and between the six professional artists, they mentored 24 emerging artists.

The exhibition will be open to the public every day until Sunday March 26.

The Cairns Businesswomen’s Club is hosting an International Women’s Day lunch on Friday, March 10 at the Hilton Hotel.

It’s a day to celebrate women’s achievements and both highlight and work to address barriers that continue to perpetuate gender inequality. Every person attending the lunch will receive an IWD purple ribbon.

AusMumpreneur co-founders Peace Mitchell and Katy Garner, of Innisfail, will be the guest speakers at the lunch. Tickets are $79 for members or $99 for non-members. The event starts at 11am.
