Entry Fee: $150 plus a refundable $50 cleaning deposit allows a team to compete in the listed categories. Teams st nd rd may compete in one or all categories. Awards will be given for 1 , 2 and 3 place for pork ribs, tri-tip, and chicken. Carne asada will have only one first place award and receive $200. One grand champion will be awarded. Winner of the tailgate decorations will receive a prize package. Early Bird Fee: $100 plus a refundable $50 cleaning deposit if postmarked no later than September 28, 2012. Entry Deadline: Entries must be received no later than October 5, 2012. Failure to meet deadlines may result in nonparticipation. Applications will be on a first come, first served basis until venue is sold out. Waiver of Liability: In consideration for acceptance of this entry, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Spring Valley Tailgate & BBQ Festival Committee, the Spring Valley Chamber of Commerce, Cali-Comfort Restaurant or any individual or group responsible for the organization of this festival. I hereby grant permission to the Spring Valley Tailgate & BBQ Festival Committee and or/agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings and any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Spring Valley Tailgate & BBQ Festival Committee.
