I gained this idea by just constructing a triangle on the location of my map. From there I started developing the idea and change the design and structure so that it would seem pleasing. Also this structure contains two floors which is beneficial to me because is linked with my design brief since I want two floors, one for a specific type of cars while the other floor would be based on the office and the manufacture of the cars.
I developed on an idea by creating a drawing on the left and change it in a way in which it is much more different. The drawings on the bottom are from the model I created using the picture as an inspiration. Once again when creating the model I developed more onto the idea and it looks completely different from the first step. I used aluminium bars to create my model because it’s related to the drawing I done that is consisted on lines. Plus the material I used was easy to work with and would make it look very interesting at the end.
This is a design to demonstrate the development from the model I have created at the beginning. When I gathered materials I used them to create a several amount of models that I used to create a certain practical design. When I was drawing the sketches I needed to make sure that I can provide enough space both inside and outside for it to meet my design brief. The silhouettes that I drew I then had to change it due to them being too big thus making the building look smaller than it should be and I used digital silhouettes. The design of the structure is quite different and artistic thus creating an effect of art upon the construction of the building.
This is the work I created on ArchiCAD that is related to a project I done which was based off a Hotel. The current picture being displayed below is the restaurant section and it’s still under development. This is the first draft I have created because I wanted to find it easier to grasp the overall layout of the building and to get precise measurements of the available space for the restaurant to be situated in. This is still the first draft and it is not the final solution.
