Joint re commendations From four “30 under 30 Alumnus” 2016:Finance & Venture Capital Tahan Lin|Cofounder & CEO, Backer-Founder I’ve been the funding mentor for Rikash and Emily since 2015. At the time we first met, they were two college sophomore at age 20

wondering how to initiate a crowdfunding event to help children and family in the epicenter of 2015 Nepal earthquake. Over the past 6 years, I’ve witnessed their growth on strategic planning, organisation management, program implementation, and funding ability with 6 successful crowdfunding events run by their own. They’ve not only assisted over 6 thousand children with accessible quality education but also leading Taiwan’s international development approach into a new era. Till now, the social impact they created has expanded from Nepal to other 4 asian countries and will continue to influence more people in Asia. With the proven work result and innovative approach model in education field, I strongly recommend Rikash Lin and Emily Tsai for Forbes Asia 30 under 30 list of 2022.

Joint recomme ndatio ns From four “30 under 30 Alumnus” 2017:Social Entrepreneurs Chang Hsi Tzu|Founder, City Wanderer

I’ve known Rikash and Emily since 2016. Back then, we’d shared not only tables in the co-working space but also the challenges we faced on funding, advocacy as NGOs. Three of us have a similar background, whereby we were all inspired by international volunteer experience while studying at National Taiwan University and determine to make changes by establishing NGOs focusing on the education field. I am also a regular donor of COR myself as I highly admired their ability to create international connections and to put innovative ideas into action. They recruit talents from Taiwan to design online empowerment programs, launch crowdfunding events and share grant opportunities with locals, in order to support young leaders to establish sustainable education NGOs. Their success has also encouraged many Taiwanese youngsters to devote themselves to the international development field. Therefore, I would like to recommend Rikash and Emily, as a rightful listee of 2022 Forbes Asia 30 under 30.

I’ve had the chance to meet Rikash and Emily through a mutual friend as I was getting interested in helping the less privileged kids and they are the experts in this area. During the meeting, I was deeply impressed by the things they are doing and the way they made the organisation sustainable, knowing how challenging it is to not only do a NGO but even an international one. I believe what made them successful is not only a kind and strong heart, but also their vision and cleverness of how things should be done in the long run. Knowing their stories and seeing how much they’ve grown in just a few years, I can guarantee with no doubt that they are the true entrepreneurs and influencers whom deserves the recognition of 30 Under 30.
