Treehouse Competition
The walking neighbourhood is a response to Covid-19 and how we as a society could overcome its challenges. The illustration address a number of issues in a fanciful nature these being the relationship of public and private, community, green space and technology.
The treehouse design aims to achieve solitude in the canopy above the trees, to look upon the ruins, to return to nature and the childhood playfulness of the act of climbing. Between history buffs, families or couples; these module designs can adapt to different scenarios aimed at each different user group. The architecture harnesses the natural environment through its glulam and CLT framing. These material elements help with sustainability, wellness, warmth and flexibility.

Busan Automotive The design concept is derived from an abstraction of aerodynamic, fluid, beautiful forms in motion. It is not about copying elements of supercars. It is about emulating the elegant curves of the Ferrari 488 Pista, the fluid forms of the Porsche concept car and the aeronautical influences in the Lamborghini.
Gapyeong Healing Park We proposed a bold, but discreet, contemporary architecture inserted carefully into the site so as to preserve and enhance the character of the woodland setting. The key strategy to extend the garden landscape into and through the stream valley, will enhance the visitor journey through the landscape and provide desirable views from the hotel, apartments and villas.
Project Midieo The proposal is for a new build tower to partner and connect with the existing SBS broadcasting headquarters, in a new mixed use development, that also includes residential, hotel, conference & media-innovation hub, retail and E-sports arena functions. All sat within new green public spaces that for a new civic district for the western edge of Seoul.
Vertical Streetscape Can the multiplicity of fluctuating streetscapes interact with the oscillation between mood and program vertically and in turn be amplified through a series of effects which reinvigorate the atmosphere of the street?

Unifying the departments of the Kolon Group and allowing for a form that is driven by both requirement of areas but linking together in a creative & inspiring journey. The design aims to address 3 key concepts which are focused on ‘Human Centred Design’, these are employee first, a home for everyone and the Kolon Ecosystem.
9
+ Ground Floor
A multi-use ground floor experience that brings together the brand, kolon employees and the public which creates a green oasis which gives back to the community and aligns with Kolons key beliefs.
+ Facade Detailing
The facade operates with varying rotations of panels on the secondary skin. The panel rotations will allow for air to flow through the cavity and expel towards the top of the building. These environmental efficiencies will reduce energy use and increase comfort for its occupants.
+ Scripting
N The facade required a parametric design response where we could control the second
skin and panels to rotate for the filtration of air through the double skinned facade.

The Hive is the very heart of a community of people who care. In creating this hub, the Hive also represents a new era that prioritises NHS staff wellbeing. Inspired by the natural landscape of the moorland and coastline surrounding the Middlesbrough area, the Hive invites nature in. It allows time and space for feelings rather than task based interactions, and through thoughtful use of the space, construction, materials, and amenities the Hive will create an experience that encourages a positive state of mind and nourishes the soul. 13
+ Hive Layout
The Hive acts as a break out space to give staff at the NHS a space to relax and unwind during their day.
+ Kit of Parts
Due to the size of the site and constraints it is beneficial to take a modular kit of parts approach. This would minimise disruption to the existing building and its daily functions.

The architecture is not static. It is always in a state of dynamic tension and poise. The surrounding life and activity on the site is represented in the facade of the building. It is as the form is a result of erosion from the surrounding life and activity. The architecture aims to reflect the passing vehicles. Bands of translucent glazing glow to represent the activity on the highway, At night, lit cars behind the facade would be overlaid by the passing tail lights. Digital faรงades could be programmed to respond to live traffic. 25
