Brief Why did you choose the materials you did? - I have chosen a metal tin to house my tea because it ties in with my theme and can be sold easily with the clean look. Are they sustainable? - They are not sustainable but they are reusable, because they are tins they can be used over and over again. What is the meaning behind certain shapes or icons in the design? - The royal look of the crown ties in with the brand name of royal tee. Is there a specific emotion your going for? - I am going for a sense of royalty when you buy and use the product. It will feel high end and very expensive. If you are designing a logo for a horror movie, do you want it to look frenzied or gothic? -Probably very gothic but it really depends on what the type of movie. Do you want the viewer to have a certain feeling when they see it? - Yeah I want the viewer to want it when they see it, after seeing the box I want to leave them wanting more. Why did you use this style? - I feel this style is appealing to me and that I feel not only will it look cool but it will be able to be competitive in the market today. Are you trying for a retro look? - Yes and No, I want it too feel minimalistic but I also want it to feel expensive and clean. Or a sleek modern look? How does it relate to the brand you have chosen? - A modern look will look very good but I feel the minimalist will leave the customer wondering what it will be like which will make them buy it.

Brief How does the type relate to the design, and how does it relate to the brand personality? - The type will be able to coincide with the overall look, a flowing/ bold statement will be made. For example: A lawyer’s office may want a tall and classic font to resemble columns. Is it friendly and hand drawn? - Yes because I want it to look fancy. Make sure the design relates to the brand’s personality, values and goals. Although you may think that the design is great, if the client can’t relate to it, or if it doesn’t suit the brand personality, the design is unsuccessful. - By doing some research into the current market I was able to determine what will look good and will be effective and what wont. Why did you choose the colours you did? - I wanted it to look royal, You would find the queen drinking it . What do the colours represent? - I want to use a lot of gold and but there will be a lot of different colours depending on the flavor of the tea. Did you use any symbolic colours in the design or use any variants of the colour scheme? - The colours vary from flavor to flavor but they will be all very similar.
