Mannum Truck and Ute Show Sunday 9th June ith over 120 trucks and utes on display, visitors will be in awe as the big prime movers and many intriguing heritage trucks show off their polished rigs along Randell Street at the South Australian Truck and Ute Show brought to you by the Mannum Progress Association and the Truck Factory. Visitors will walk amongst the giants with chrome shining and paintwork gleaming and with the magnificent Murray River as their backdrop this June long weekend on Sunday 9th. “We are excited to now host the second South Australian Truck and Ute Show in Mannum and are expecting more entries this year,” said Mannum Progress Association Chairperson Carol Greening. “The show is not just a place where you can win the best presented, it is a family day out with country music, food stalls with the whole main street comes alive.” Mayor Dave Burgess was amazed by the display and the 5000 people who attended last year. “The inaugural event last year was an overwhelming success. “Closing off the main street brings a new and exciting ambience to the township where visitors can explore the shops, make their way to

the riverfront and enjoy the trucks up close.” Country music will be provided throughout the day in two locations adding to the festival atmosphere. City Cowboys will be at the Shearer Car Park with the trucks and Lee Brocky and Outback Overdrive with the utes at Mary Ann Reserve. A mini ‘Truck Expo’ will be held in Randell Street with exhibits for all trucker’s needs along with bric-a-brac, craft and produce stalls for the ladies at the Bowling Club car park. For the children, free entertainment will be provided with a jumping castle and face painters. The M.V. Jester will run one hour cruises at 11am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm from Mary Ann Reserve, where you can see the many utes on display vying for the many trophies on offer. Shuttle buses will provide transfers to Randell Street from free parking at the showgrounds. The second South Australian Truck and Ute Show brought to you by the Truck Factory at Mannum is ready to welcome you to view these mammoth rigs and utes of all shapes and sizes on Sunday 9th June from 10am to 4:00pm, with a gold coin donation entry.
