This is the day the Lord has made. Let us give thanks: For our ancestors in the faith who have made this day of gathering with God’s people a reality; For our sisters and brothers in the faith, who are journeying with us toward your new mercies every morning; For our sisters and brothers in the faith who listen to us tell of the hope and joy we know in Christ who lives among us. Let us live as stewards of both past and promise, blessing the ancient story and celebrating the new day together. Let us worship God! INVOCATION
