PRAYER

Most High God, You are with me always even when I cannot see you. As soon as I step into a trial and place my trust in You, there I see You beside me! Thank you for never leaving me or forsaking me despite my wandering heart and wavering faith. Please forgive me for the times when I have responded to difficulties with fear or lack of faith. Grow my roots of faith so deeply in Truth that I am able to withstand the furnace of affliction and react to trials in a new way that brings honor and glory to Jesus. Teach me Your way, Your truth, and Your life so I can stand firm upon the Rock as the world crumbles and grasps at idols. For You have said You have a specific place for those who despise authority. Therefore, it is my heart’s desire to submit to Your authority and serve You and You alone, leaving any disobedience in the past. I trust You Jesus, my Lord and my God, to carry me through whatever it is I may face as I abide in You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen

“But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”
