IN TOWNSEND, MA Christ Church Townsend was planted in the quintessential New England village of Townsend, Massachusetts in April 2023. Having lived in the area for most of his life, Jeff Willett understands the need for a gospel presence in the community to address the brokenness that is sometimes masked by quaint village life. We rejoice with Christ Church Townsend that they regularly welcome 45 worshippers each Sunday and baptized a new believer this summer. Your giving helped provide the church with the funds for a meeting space and pastoral salary assistance.

LOCAL CHURCH

Clarence and Leah have always called Grand Rapids home. A joint effort with our partner church, Tabernacle Community Church, Indwelling Community Church was planted in April 2021. The Jerusalem Project provided leaders for their advisory team, gave significant financial funding, encouraged people to join the new church plant, and coordinated ongoing prayer support. We praise God that Indwelling is now an independent, self-sustaining congregation committed to sharing the transforming power of the gospel with those who live and work in downtown Grand Rapids.

IN PANGRATI, GREECE Emmanuel and Bethany Tsoutsas love their community, a neighborhood of Athens without an evangelical church. More than 35,000 people call Pangrati home, a thriving community of families and young adults, but most have never heard the gospel. Along with the joy of seeing Jesus transform individual lives, the church continues to grow. The Jerusalem Project’s financial and prayer support has allowed the church to impact their community as they become firmly established in Pangrati.

Dan Heyward serves as the Vicar of St. Andrew’s Church in Oxford, England, an evangelical church reaching the North Oxford community. Through your generosity, the Jerusalem Project was able to support the essential gospel work happening in England by providing rest and refreshment for Dan and his family through our sabbatical fund.
