Our main life goal is discipling people into deeper relationship with God inside the Church and outside of it (Matthew 28:19). We believe that what we are called to do requires a full time commitment. We believe in relational, joyful, obedient giving to see the Kingdom work advance (2 Corinthians 9:6-15).

waken Discipleship Training School (YWAM Kona) has the goal of training christians to live a life centered around God, in community and to be missional in all areas of life. Another goal is to create and multiply missional communities around the world. We have been a part of this school from the beginning and have now started the first community outside of the USA (Casa Libertad).
fter seeing and hearing hundreds of testimonies of God from around the world from outreach teams from Awaken and YWAM not being written down, I decided to create a platform to capture these stories. I created a small team and created the first printed Magazine in 2012 and in 2011 launched AwakenMag.com. The magazine has been read in over 13 countries and the website has authors contributing from around the world.
ith a desire to multiply what God has taught us through the years in YWAM as well as out of obedience to God’s call to go to Spain, we took the step to share our vision for this community in Awaken DTS. We embarked on the journey to develop and launch the community. It meant going to Mexico for language study and team development and landing in Spain where God provided our miracle house in the middle of Barcelona.

This covers our monthly transportation cards in Barcelona as well as 2 round trip tickets a year to travel back to the states to see family# friends# and partners&jlggfik\ij.
We are due for our first child at the end of January. Many of you are parents and know the cost of a baby. We have been blessed to get healthcare for our baby for free from the Spanish Government. This cuts down our costs drastically. We are hoping that this covers our needs for diapers, food, baby products, etc.
PERSONAL/FAMILY CARE This includes weekly date night for Camille and I as well as clothing, shoes, hygiene products, haircuts, etc. GIVING We give 10% of what we receive monthly to churches and individuals. As well as stay obedient to the Lord's voice in giving more.
HOSPITALITY/MINISTRY This goes toward non-profit website work I do (hosting fees, graphic design, computer maintenance), bibles / literature purchased, meeting with new acquaintances over coffee/meals, paying for guests’ meals at our house, and providing for guests’ stays at Casa Libertad.

INDIA The Lord opened an opportunity to run a café in Dharamsala, home of the Dali Lama. Through serving and gathering people for events like english exchange and “religious discussion”, we shared the gospel with Kashmiris, Buddhists, students, and tourists.
SPAIN Our favorite testimony from Spain is about the plaza kids that we met after doing a skit. The night ended with the gospel preached and shown to 10+ teens, 2 healings, and 2 making a decision to walk toward God in their lives. It was a lesson in stepping out against fear of man and watching God move in power through us, his children.

FAITH TRIP 3 MONTHS 18 COUNTRIES Little did we know that this was a vision trip for our current calling Spain. We were able to check the pulse of Europe spiritually and get a glimpse of what God was doing and going to do on this diverse continent. Along the way we taught and served in churches and communities, made contacts, and shared about Jesus.
MEXICO Mexico was a treasure chest full of things from God. We created some life-long friendships, mentors, experienced so much joy and fruit in ministering on the streets and we received a great foundation in Spanish. Ryan and I led a 2-on-1 Spanish bible study with a local florist. He opened up to us more than anybody in his life and we were able to speak into his marraige and family. Ryan and my spanish grew immensely!

YEARS WITH YWAM AND AWAKEN The testimonies are numerous while staffing in YWAM (Youth with a Mission) Kona. Our movement called Awaken has grown into the vision the Lord has for us through the years. We have seen hundreds of students transformed and launched into missions back home or in other nations. We have around 100+ staff and are expanding to multiple schools throughout the year. Dreams for missional communities are being birthed. We had the honor of being the first as Casa Libertad, now calling Barcelona, Spain home. We have seen healings and salvations inside our school and outside of it. We have seen the development of spiritual disiplines out of the place of hunger for God. We have seen the word and idea of “family� restored. Awaken has sent teams to places in the middle east, Europe, Africa, and Asia. We know it is just the beginning for this movement called Awaken!
