Introduction This book will tell you facts about the puma.


Characteristics The puma is 8 feet. The puma is a mammal. The puma's head is small. The puma is dark brown.


Habitat The puma lives in the desert or the forest or in Africa.


Diet The puma eats rodents, tigers and birds. For a bird, the puma climbs a tree. When the bird flies away. For a tiger, the puma runs after it. For a rodent, the puma does the same as for a tiger.


Behavior The puma spends most of the day sleeping. It is diurnal.


Defense The puma's defense is to run to the predator and pounce. Then it fights by biting and scratching with its claws.


Life Cycle The puma comes from its mother. Then it grows and grows some more and becomes an adult.


Conclusion We need to take care of the puma because it is being killed because hunters want its fur.
