Introduction This book will teach you about skunks.


Characteristics Skunks are black and have a white line on their backs. Skunks are most active at night. Skunks are mammals.


Habitat Skunks make dense. Skunks live in North America, Central America, and South America. Skunks live in many kinds of habitats from fields to forests, and the zoo.


Diet Sometimes skunks eat bees and wasps. Skunks are omnivores. Skunks eat fruit, vegetables, grass and even cactus.


Defense When an enemy finds a skunks a skunk will stomp its feet, arch its back, scratch the grounds with its claws, hiss and clack its teeth. If that doesn't scare away the animal, a skunk will spray a very smelly oily smell.


Life Cycle Baby skunks follow their mothers around for several months, leaving in late July or early August. Skunks leave their mothers when they are grown up. When skunks are grown up they find somewhere else to live.


Conclusion I hope you like my book. It took me a long time to make it. I really like skunks and I was happy to make a book about a skunk.
