Characteristics The dolphin has teeth, but some dolphins are toothless. The dolphin's color is gray. Dolphins have a dorsal fin. Dolphins breath air through a blow hole. Dolphins are mammals.
Habitat Dolphins live in the water. They live only in the water. They live in the ocean water. One dolphin lives in the Amazon water.
Diet Dolphins eat fish. The dolphin uses echolocation to find food and objects. A dolphin can find a tiny fish. Dolphins form a circle and slap their tails in the water.
Behavior Dolphins communicate with each other. Most dolphins live in groups. Dolphins can jump out of water. People can teach dolphins to play basketball. Dolphins make clicking noises and do barrel rolls.
Defense The dolphin pokes bigger animals, or other dolphins. They camouflage and they can swim fast. Dolphins don't scream.
Life Cycle The mom dolphin starts out pregnant. Then the baby is born. Then the dolphins take care of the baby while it is a kid. Then it is an adult.
Conclusion We can take the trash out of the dolphin's habitat, the water. We can help the planet, too. Don't throw trash in the dolphin's habitat. Please do not destroy its habitat.
