Behavior The Arctic fox is nomadic. It spends most of its day looking for food or eating.


Defense The Arctic fox uses its teeth to hurt its predators. The Arctic fox opens its mouth and threatens to bite. The Arctic fox uses camouflage because in spring it is black and in winter it is white. The Arctic fox hides in a burrow.


Life Cycle First the Arctic fox is in its mother's stomach. Then the kit is born and it grows into an adult. Then the life cycle starts over.
