ANATOMY FOR ARTISTS
Mark Lefkowitz | Certified Medical Illustrator
The ability to draw, paint or sculpt the human form is greatly enhanced if the artist truly understands the anatomic structures under the skin that produce the form. We will utilize a skeleton and anatomy atlases to learn about skeletal elements, deep and superficial muscle layers, and vasculature. We will set up poses with a live model and apply what we’ve learned. Prior drawing experience is strongly recommended, particularly from a live model.
