BEGINNING JEWELRY: BANGLE BRACELETS Laurie Savage | Metalsmith

Beginning jewelry making students can continue learnin this workshop which focuses on creating a set of 3 textured bangle bracelets, one each in sterling silver, bronze, and copper. Students will learn to further develop their fabricat including measurement, texturing, filing, forming, soldering, and tumbler finishing. All materials will be provided, including ster silver, bronze, and copper (in di‹erent shaped wires), saw blades, solder, and sandpaper. Beginning jewelry-making students can continue learnin this workshop which focuses on creating a sterling silve pendant with a bezel-set cabochon stone. Students will develop their fabrication skills, including drilling, sawing, pie filing, multiple soldering techniques, making jump rings, satin fin and setting the stone. All materials will be provided: sterlin sheet and wire, copper (for practice), cabochon stone, saw blades, solder, and sandpaper.
