What tonight’s all about The annual Cambridge FC Quiz Night and AucƟon has become a popular social fixture in the town, and a vital fundraiser for our club. In recent years, the event has been sold out, an indica on of how popular it’s become. The proceeds from tonight’s event will go towards helping maintain and improve our junior fields. We face a significant challenge in finding the volunteers and money to provide linemarking each week, and we’re keen to improve the levels of the junior pitches. Tonight will help us with those projects. The club would like to thank the sponsors who help make the Quiz Night such a success, and especially tonight’s main sponsor, Onyx Restarant, Cafe & Bar. They are listed throughout this Quiz Night Programme and we urge club members to support them in return. Now, a few things you should know about tonight: While we encourage par cipants to bring

their own food to the venue, we can’t allow you to bring your own alcohol into the hall. The bar licence that covers the event forbids the consump on of alcohol not bought on the premises.  The primary aim of tonight’s event is to have fun! We know from past experience how compe ve the quiz can get but we remind you that use of mobile devices (smart phones, iPads etc.) must not be used in efforts to find answers. We know many will need their phones on to remain in touch with babysi ers, and for emergencies, but please keep their use to a minimum.  While quizmaster Peter Martens has done his best to ensure the accuracy of answers, his decision is final in the event of any dispute. Finally, big thanks on behalf of the club to those volunteers who have made it possible, especially Peter Martens, and organisers Jim Thomassen and Fairlie Morton, and the teams who contributed prizes.

The club takes this opportunity to thank Russell Foster and RICOH for prinƟng our match programmes again this season, as well as this special publicaƟon.
