ARCHITECTURE COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £4,495 LOCATIONS: CAMBRIDGE, UK

“Immerse was a great opportunity for me to get an insight into what it is like to study Architecture at university, as you can’t really learn about it as an A-level or IB subject.”

HODA , 2017 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: The University of Cambridge has had a strong impact on British architecture for centuries. From the solid, Brutalist design of the British Library, to the futuristic styling of the National Space Centre in Leicester, to the functional beauty of Heathrow’s Terminal 3, all of these iconic buildings were designed and built by Cambridge University alumni. For aspiring urban designers, there are few better cities to learn the discipline than Cambridge, surrounded by the legacy of great architects, such as Sir Christopher Wren, James Stirling, and Foster and Partners. However, adjusting to campus life, keeping up with a rigorous study schedule, and learning to live independently can feel overwhelming for even the most determined learners. Which is why, at the twoweek Immerse Architecture programme in Cambridge, participants will be able to engage with first-year architecture material, reside in a Cambridge University college, and develop new skills as they work through a carefully constructed syllabus. The programme is geared towards prospective undergraduate students who are trying to decide what to pursue after high school, or who are simply looking to learn more about the world of architecture. After two weeks of instruction, students will leave the programme with a better understanding of the history and trends behind modern architecture, as well as the real-world challenges inherent in being a practising architect today.

COURSE OUTCOMES: Completing the Immerse Architecture programme is an important first step for any new university student. The knowledge and skills gained here are fundamental, giving participants significant insight into what their undergraduate studies will entail. However, as with most Immerse programmes, the Architecture programme is designed to leave participants with much more than just new knowledge about urban design. Instead, the programme also helps students get comfortable with the new routines and responsibilities of university life. For example, each programme participant will stay in a Cambridge University college throughout their studies and will take part in workshops designed to develop broader skills such as public speaking and debating. They’ll also be expected to take responsibility for their studies and schedule— essential skills for any university student. Finally, participants will learn about life as an architect after university. Through a series of hands-on activities, each participant will prepare, critically examine, and develop their own personal architecture portfolio. They’ll even work independently on a mock proposal for a real-world project, preparing as if they were pitching a real client. It’s this well-rounded, holistic approach to teaching architecture that makes Immerse an invaluable experience for young would-be architects.

BIOLOGY COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £4,495 LOCATIONS: CAMBRIDGE, UK

“The best thing in Immerse must be my biology lecturer; the tutor was very helpful and responsible and he imparted knowledge clearly.” YIXUAN , 2017 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: Unravel the mysteries behind everything from the world’s tiniest microorganisms to the largest ecosystems known to man. Here at Immerse Education’s two-week Biology programme in Cambridge, students aged 16–18 will have an opportunity to study with other young, soon-to-be biologists and get familiar with the finer points of university life. The programme will push students to work together as they uncover the mechanisms behind life’s building blocks, solidify new knowledge through a series of planned activities, and delve into advanced topics not typically covered in secondary school syllabi. The curriculum starts with a deep dive into cell theory, before exploring the world of infectious diseases, and finally moving on to a wide range of more challenging material. As students work through this curriculum, they’ll spend their days studying on-campus, at a Cambridge University college and will be independently responsible for their learning. This helps to ensure that, by the end of the course students will have not only a working understanding of complex first-year Biology concepts, but also a new appreciation for the routines and responsibilities of university life.

COURSE OUTCOMES: In a sense, the Immerse Biology programme in Cambridge helps make the often stressful transition from high school to university much more comfortable. Through guided lectures, excursions, in-class debate, and hands-on activities, students will spend two weeks completely immersed in the world of cells, microorganisms, and bacteria. However, the Immerse Biology programme offers students much more than a well-rounded life sciences curriculum. Staying at a Cambridge University college, participants will quickly learn to get comfortable with the new challenges of living on their own, being more responsible for their own schedules, and building critical self-study habits before university begins. This is an invaluable first-look at undergraduate life, and a transformative experience for many. At the end of the Biology summer programme, Immerse alumni will have learned to channel their passion for biology into applied, focussed study. They’ll return home with a head full of new knowledge, newfound confidence about their choice to continue studying biology, and with a clear picture of what life may look like when they begin their first year.

“I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my Chemistry sessions as they have truly enriched my knowledge base.” MALINA- ELENA , 2018 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: When it comes to science, an inquisitive mind is the foundation of success. This is especially true in chemistry where participants will need to evaluate complex processes, make informed predictions and test their hypotheses with experiments that not only yield exciting results but also satisfy their curiosity. Along with a passion for investigation comes a desire to see the results of one’s work applied in the practical world. At the Immerse Chemistry programme in Cambridge, particpants will spend two weeks learning how to do exactly that: make practical use of important on-paper topics. For students who are passionate about chemistry, but want to see what their future career may actually look like, this programme provides the perfect taste of university life. Delivered through lectures, hands-on labs, and in-class debate, the curriculum will introduce participants to a range of university-level organic, inorganic, and biological chemistry. Each lesson has been carefully designed to build on secondary school material, both consolidating previous knowledge and preparing participants for more advanced concepts. After two weeks living on-campus and studying with their peers, participants will return home with a much better understanding of the challenges involved in studying Chemistry at university level. They’ll have covered challenging material, learned from academics at the world’s top universities, and enjoyed first-hand experience living and study independently.

COURSE OUTCOMES: Choosing to study chemistry at a university level requires more than just a passion for colourful explosions and interesting reactions. To be successful, participants will need to master a wide variety of challenging concepts and apply themselves diligently. For many, it’s helpful to get a clear picture of what that life might look like before making the decision to pursue a degree in chemistry. This course is intended to provide that picture, engaging participants in a style of learning, curriculum, and living arrangement that closely mirrors undergraduate life as a chemistry student. In the Immerse Chemistry programme, students will be challenged to study more or less independently, living oncampus at a Cambridge University college. This a key part of the experience, pushing each participant to become more responsible for their own learning as they familiarize themselves with the new demands of university life. By the time they’re ready to start their undergraduate studies, Immerse alumni will already be somewhat familiar with their new life; both with the level of content taught at university, as well as the new challenges to be found in living and studying on campus.

“I loved the way we were taught a bit of background covering computer architecture and cryptography, which connected many dots and gave me a bigger picture.”

ALBERT, 2018 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: The field of computer science is in an ongoing state of constant and exciting innovation that revolutionises the discipline from one year to the next and changes the way we use technology in our everyday life. There are few restrictions on what can be achieved with the right knowledge, and computer science students in today’s classrooms will find they’re limited by nothing more than their own imagination. The Immerse Computer Science summer programme offers students an exciting look at the world of modern computing. Here, students aged 16–18 will learn to bring their ideas to life, creating new programs, and discussing the potential implications of working in a field that adapts so quickly. Each lesson has been carefully planned by Immerse education experts, designed to meet students at their level and gradually push them towards deeper, more challenging content. Participants in this programme will start with the basics, and then get familiar with more advanced, contemporary movements in computing such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cryptography, etc. Moreover, participants will be asked to consider how these new ideas can be used to solve the world’s biggest problems.

COURSE OUTCOMES: Immerse Education programmes bridge the gap between high school and university. Participants will be given all the tools they need to begin seriously studying computer science at a higher level. Instruction has been designed to interweave different teaching methods, engaging participants in both handson, practical computer science challenges, as well as guided instruction from expert tutors. This varied approach helps to solidify knowledge gained through lectures and can help make new ideas more permanent. However, all this knowledge would be somewhat ineffectual without understanding how it can be applied to real problems. As such, recurring emphasis will be placed on the realworld application of theory, showing how individual computer science skills map to specific job opportunities and industries. Additionally, computer science participants will also be assigned a larger, overarching coding project designed to give them a feel for the kinds of computing problems they’ll encounter outside the walls of a classroom. Leaving Cambridge at the end of their Computer Science summer programme, participants will be working with entrylevel undergraduate material, will have a good feel for the pace of learning they can expect in university, and will have gained a better understanding of their own role as an independent learner.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £4,495 LOCATIONS: CAMBRIDGE, UK

“I could see that the teacher was passionate about what he was teaching us, which made me feel that I really want to study International Relations at university.”

LUIZA , 2018 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: The Immerse International Relations programme aims to provide high school students with an understanding of the main approaches used to explain the current global political, economic and social order. The field embraces a wide range of topics and questions and the cacophony of theories, practical examples, and approaches not only makes International Relations a highly engaging discipline, but also a wide-ranging and challenging one. International Relations is the study of politics beyond the state. This seemingly clear-cut definition is understood differently by experts in the field, however, most scholars agree on the fact that the study of politics should not be exclusively confined to what happens inside nation-states. With this in mind, the Immerse International Relations programme examines the global nature of politics, paying particular attention to European structures as well as the role of the UN. Such an interdisciplinary subject touches on the roots of legal systems, politics, sociology and anthropology making it a fascinating, and very human-centric science. Participants will gain a rich understanding of the fields encompassed by this subject, the challenges faced by academics, and the diverse careers that a degree in this subject could lead to.

COURSE OUTCOMES: As well as a theoretical understanding of international relations, participants on this course will also develop practical skills that enable them to contribute in a professional context. They can expect to learn how to discuss and debate interesting and often controversial topics, constructing convincing, coherent arguments that demonstrate high levels of analysis. Participants will also become effective researchers, employing the best practices to become independent learners and, furthermore, gain an insight into what it is like to study international relations in the UK. Beyond this, participants will also learn how to negotiate on points of controversy, defending their perspective in an articulate and diplomatic manner. They will also further their ability to critically evaluate information at a higher level than is typically expected in secondary education, thereby providing a strong foundation of skills for further study of this complex and fascinating field.

LAW COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £4,495 LOCATIONS: CAMBRIDGE, UK

“I have made lifelong friends here, and with the expertise of my academic tutors, have created a solid foundation for my goal of studying Law in university. I can’t think of a better way to have spent my summer!”

JESSICA , 2017 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: Designed for aspiring undergraduate students between 16 –18 years old, the Immerse Law programme offers participants an exciting glimpse into the life of a university law student. During the programme, students will be introduced to law as an academic discipline while looking at the everyday reality of the current legal system of England and Wales. For most students, the study of law is completely new. Secondary school curriculums rarely touch on this challenging subject, meaning their initial year of undergraduate studies can feel challenging at first. This programme serves to bridge that gap, helping participants build a solid foundation of essential knowledge, theories, and concepts. By the end of the programme, participants will have taken part in a comprehensive curriculum covering the essentials of constitutional, criminal, human rights, and EU law. Outside of the classroom, learning is supported with planned activities and complimentary skills-based workshops . For example, participants will leave the comfort of the lecture hall to see the law in action during a visit to the Magistrates’ Court. Additionally, all programme participants are invited to take advantage of a series of LNAT workshops where they’ll learn how to study for the challenging Law National Aptitude Test.

COURSE OUTCOMES: The goal of this programme is to give participants the knowledge and skills necessary to better understand academic explorations of Law at a university level. Many of the modules in our curriculum will appear in students’ first and second years of university and have been carefully selected for this reason. Each day’s learning is supported by stimulating in-class debate, hands-on activities, and the guidance of expert tutors. In addition to teaching essential university-level topics, tutorials will also focus on the real-life challenges of practising law, including the declining state of legal aid funding, contemporary legal business structures, and recent moves towards more equal participation. Participants will also be challenged to improve their essay writing and work together with their peers as they seek to defend original arguments. This an essential skill for anyone working with the law; one that participants will find themselves relying on frequently throughout their careers. Outside of these hard skills, the programme also encourages an exploration of participants’ own interpretations of the law. Particpants will be required to think about a number of challenging legal problems, particularly those concerning ethics, sentencing, and even the particularly complex challenges of human rights law.

MANAGEMENT COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £4,495 LOCATIONS: CAMBRIDGE, UK

“I learned a lot about the field of management and what it is like to learn at Cambridge...my time at Immerse was unforgettable.” OLIVIA , 2018 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: The Immerse Management programme in Cambridge is an engaging forum in which to challenge your understanding and expand your experience of this fast-faced and ever-evolving subject. It is the perfect opportunity to develop your knowledge beyond what is typically taught in secondary school and gain insight into the style of learning you would encounter at a business school. In addition to introducing key management theories, the programme is interactive and example-led, exploring fascinating real life examples that you would normally encounter in a university context. By using a variety of different resources such as business articles, lectures and talks, students will develop their knowledge of the study of management and discuss together the insights gained, critically evaluating the material in front of them and debating the relative merits of the theories they encounter. Tutorials are structured in a collaborative and interative way to encourage discussion and in this way they introduce participants to the method of analysing business decisions while also equipping them with the practical skills required to engage with practical examples.

COURSE OUTCOMES: Like all Immerse Education programmes, the Management programme aims to expose our participants to student life in the UK by introducing them to the core skills required for universitylevel study. Participants will be expected to use their initiative and be proactive in taking charge of their own learning to explore the areas of the programme that interest them most. To support the development of independent learning, participants will be able to present their analysis of a current business example, deploying the theory they have learned during the fortnight to substantiate their points of view. They will critically assess their own work, and the work of their peers working both collaboratively and competitively to emulate the environments that they will likely encounter in their future careers. While exploring existing business and management theories in detail, participants will also be encouraged to challenge the status quo and approach practical examples with innovation and development in mind. They will develop the ability to critically evaluate business models and strategise on the most effective means of developing and progressing a business. By the end of the programme, participants will be equipped with the skills and insight required for them to make informed decisions about the future of their academic and business careers.

MATHEMATICS COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £4,495 LOCATIONS: CAMBRIDGE, UK

“I have made lots of friends who I plan to stay in contact with, and the program has improved my mathematical knowledge and my determination and desire to succeed.”

GEORGE , 2018 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: The Immerse Mathematics programme introduces participants to univeristy-level mathematics with an interdisciplinary perspective. From engineering, medicine and the sciences to finance, economics and business, maths is a broad subject that offers diverse and exciting career opportunities. Independence and initiative are core to any undergraduate degree, though arguably more pronounced for mathematicians. The transition from secondary school mathematics to that taught at university level can be disarming as students discover that concepts they once held to be universal truths, are in fact far more complex then they appear. The ability to develop proofs is a skill that undergraduates build upon over the entirety of their degree, however the Immerse Mathematics programme provides unique insight and tools that ensures they approach their future study with informed understanding of the intellectual challenges they will encounter. Challenged and supported to push beyond the maths they have encountered in the classroom, participants will also develop their notation, a vital component in the coherence of the mathematical work. The practical skills, high-level theoretical understanding, and insight into university life ensure that participants approach their futures with confidence and enthusiasm for the challenge.

COURSE OUTCOMES: Upon completing the Immerse Mathematics programme, participants will have furthered their knowledge of mathematical concepts and theories, but crucially, will have developed the skills required to critically analyse the problems and solutions that they will later encounter at university. While developing skills such as notation, participants also gain invaluable insight into university-level mathematics which also highlights the multitude of career opportunities that are open to graduates in this field. To consolidate the mathematical knowledge the participants gain during the programme, and further their individual interests, participants also deliver a presentation on a notable theory or problem in the field. This encourages participants to structure and deliver their arguments coherently and convincingly, and again highlighting that the study of mathematics cannot be reconciled as ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. By the end of the programme, participants are able to make informed comment both on mathematical problems and decisions about their future.

MEDICINE COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £4,495 LOCATIONS: CAMBRIDGE, UK

“I gained a lot of insight into my subject and the programme helped me to be confident in why I want to study Medicine. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge, not only about my subject but also about uni application procedures.”

MARL A , 2017 PARTICIPANT

SUMMARY: Choosing to study medicine is a big decision. It will require long hours, years of study, and unwavering dedication, yet the rewards are utterly unique. The Immerse Medicine summer programme is a unique 2-week course designed to prepare participants for the challenges and expectations of undergraduate study. Throughout the programme, participants will be encouraged to think critically, argue their ideas, and work collaboratively to solve complex medical problems. Class sizes are kept small, allowing participants a chance to interact easily with instructors and their peers as they study a broad range of topics, covering everything from the basics of human anatomy to the latest developments in experimental medicine. The programme is geared towards A-level or IB students who want to know if a career in medicine is right for them. As such, the programme places a strong emphasis on nurturing independent thinking and constructive debate. By the end of the two weeks, participants will have both an in-depth introduction to first-year medical topics, as well as a firm understanding of the challenges that come with being an undergraduate medical student.

COURSE OUTCOMES: Unfortunately, medicine can’t be studied at high school. Outside of basic biology and chemistry, almost all of the material covered in an undergraduate medical program will be entirely new to most students. This can feel challenging, especially at the beginning of the school year or during the initial application process. Which is why, in this programme, participants will be introduced to new material that will prove essential in their first few weeks of undergraduate study (and beyond). Furthermore, great lengths have been taken while designing this course to ensure that participants walk away with more than just theoretical medical knowledge. At Immerse Education, we ensure that all participants complete the programme with both a fundamental understanding of common undergraduate medical material, as well as practical knowledge about life as first-year student, the requirements of BMAT and UKCAT aptitude tests, and other key skills required for anyone interested in studying medicine at university. In other words, this programme helps prepare students for the entire experience of undergraduate life, not just the new material they’ll likely encounter. The foundation they build here will drive their success in the challenging years to come.

O

ur mentors are a team of friendly, specially trained graduates and undergraduates from Cambridge or Oxford Universities, who help our participants quickly settle into the programme. The mentors have first hand experience with a variety of academic and non-academic issues and are therefore in the best position to offer friendly advice. It’s an unrivalled support network that we’re incredibly proud of. The mentors are there to support students even before they arrive in Cambridge. Each mentor keeps in touch with

students in the run up to their programme, enabling students to get to know each other, and their mentor, prior to arrival. Once in Cambridge the fun really begins with mentors bringing energy and good humour to mealtimes, excursions and private one-to-one consultations. They work tirelessly to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible on our programmes while also imparting their own knowledge and advice to students on anything from life at university, to handling exam nerves.

Alumni Tutors At Immerse Education we ensure that the tuition our students receive is nothing short of exceptional. We offer a wide range of subjects but never compromise on quality, ensuring that all seminars and tutorials are taught by experts in their fields. However, we recognise that genius does not guarantee successful teaching and so we carefully select all of our staff to ensure that they are not only knowledgeable, but also engaging and supportive. For this reason, all of our tutors have experience of teaching young undergraduates ensuring that tutorials support students to achieve their full potential. While intellectual challenge is at the core of what we aim to achieve on our programmes, we know that our students thrive best in an environment where they feel comfortable, supported and welcome. In turn this leads to confidence, academic success and a deeply ingrained love of learning. The passion that our tutors have for their subjects is inspiring and can be the positive force that students need in order to help them clarify exactly which subjects they enjoy and wish to pursue university level. Each course is designed by our tutors and individual classes are tailored to the range of educational backgrounds and abilities in each class. No one is ever left behind.

SUMMARY: Cambridge has had a strong impact on British architecture for centuries. From the solid, Brutalist design of the British Library, to the futuristic styling of the National Space Centre in Leicester, to the functional beauty of Heathrow’s Terminal 3— all of these iconic buildings were designed and built by Cambridge University alumni. For aspiring urban designers, there are few better places to learn the discipline than here, surrounded by the legacy of great architects, such as Sir Christopher Wren, James Stirling, and Foster and Partners to name a few. However, adjusting to campus life, keeping up with a rigorous study schedule, and learning to live independently can feel overwhelming for even the most determined learners. Which is why, at the two-week Immerse Architecture programme, students will be able to engage with first-year architecture material, reside at a Cambridge University college, and develop new skills as they work through a carefully constructed syllabus. Alumni In the past 6 years we have welcomed students from over 100 countries who have all brought their own ideas, experiences and intellectual curiosity to our programmes. They’ve come a long way since their first nervous steps through Cambridge and we feel proud to have shared in their lives as we hear about their progress and successes. Cambridge Immerse is not just a summer programme; it’s an experience that lasts a lifetime. Many of our students are now at top universities around the world, or leaving their mark on their chosen industry. They are all over the world, working or studying in hundreds of different fields, and yet are all united by the time they spent in Cambridge on our programmes. All students who take part in our programmes join this incredible network of alumni upon graduating. This gives them access to our worldwide events and support that exists to promote academic vigour, and passion for learning. Whether our students are applying for university, or preparing for a job interview, our alumni network offers support, advice and opportunities to facilitate our students to reach their full potential and always be learning.

Mentors

O

ur mentors are a team of friendly, specially trained graduates and undergraduates from Cambridge or Oxford Universities, who help our participants quickly settle into the programme.

GRAPHIC & 3D DESIGN COURSE LENGTH: 2 WEEKS COURSE TYPE: RESIDENTIAL PRICE: £2,495 LOCATIONS: SUFFOLK, UK

“The experience was incredibly inspiring - not only because of the great tutor and course material but also because of all the amazing, dedicated people that I met along the way.”

ELIN ÞOR A , 2018 ALUMNA

SUMMARY: In today’s society, the work of graphic designers is perhaps more prominent and recognisable than that of some of the world’s most renowned artists. Picture golden arches, an apple or four coloured windows and some of the world’s most famous companies will immediately spring to mind. That’s the power of graphic designers: creating brands that are instantly recognised. However, graphic design is about more than just logos or even commercial applications. You can find their work on your favourite web pages, the magazines you read or the packaging of the food you eat every day. On the Tech Immerse Graphic and 3D design programme, participants will be exposed to the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to create virtual art or transform a company’s core values into eye catching graphics that can be depicted anywhere. We achieve this by keeping class sizes small so that each participant gets the support they need from one of our expert teachers. Moreover, our programme is based on innovative educational practices that incorporate engaging activities and hands-on practical projects.

COURSE OUTCOMES: When it comes to graphic design, professionals can expect to work in both commercial and artistic environments. With this in mind, we aim to give our participants the knowledge and skills to try their hand at both. Over the course of the programme, participants will work through three sections. To begin, they will learn how to research companies to identify their core values and create visuals that accurately reflect the brand. Furthermore, they will learn how to use colours, layout, and typography, as well as how to create logos and images that bring their artistic vision to life. In the second part of the programme, participants will gain hands on experience using 3D modelling software to design and create images with numerous applications such as 3D printing and virtual reality. Moving into the latter half of the programme, participants will take their newly developed skills and knowledge and see how they’re applied in the real world. They’ll explore how graphic designers play a role in creating new and innovative products and learn how they work alongside their tech savvy peers to combine their unique skills and complete exciting projects.

SUMMARY: The world is changing quickly and education needs to change with it. While most participants have exposure to core subjects such as maths and science, few have a chance to gain exposure to the innovations that shape society. In the twentieth century, the microwave, television and computer revolutionised and defined the modern world and dictated how we lived. Today, however, it is the smartphone that has the most significant impact on our lives. With an abundance of new and exciting apps available to download, our lives have been made significantly easier. With Google Maps alone, the idea of getting lost in a new and scary place seems like a thing of the past. But videography is more than just entertainment, it’s about creating art, capturing precious moments in people’s lives and preserving history. That’s why Immerse is offering this exciting programme to ensure that the next generation of videographers have the skills needed to succeed in this enthralling and essential field. Moreover, at Tech Immerse, we believe that to get ahead of the curve, you need to be exposed to cutting edge technology from an early age. As such, our video and visual effects programme incorporates the most recent developments in the field to give our participants knowledge that far exceeds expectations of their age group. Our small class sizes allow teachers to share their expert knowledge and passion effectively to every participant so that they get the most from the programme. To aid them, teachers have access to the latest editing software as well as the enthusiasm and expertise to support the individual needs of each participant.

COURSE OUTCOMES: With so much to learn, we recognise that participants need to explore all of these fascinating topics at a pace that encourages them to confidently internalise all of these newly discovered concepts and skills. In order to achieve this vital goal, we have broken down the programme into three progressive sections. In the first part of the programme, participants will learn how to create stunning footage by choosing the best equipment for the task, setting it up perfectly and employing a variety of industry techniques. When participants move into the second part of the programme, they should already have the skills needed to capture striking video. Now they’ll gain experience manipulating and editing their expertly captured video with the aid of sophisticated computer programmes and employing the best techniques to enhance their art and develop their own style.
