Activities and Events 2014 The activities program 2014 includes some initiatives and events promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Italian and Bulgarian partners. IMPORTANT NEWS Beside the increase in business contacts, CCIE Sofia will organize events on the occasion of Italian semester Presidency at EU and other initiatives to support and give assistance to Italian companies. CAMPANIA FELIX PROJECT: WORKSHOP WITH BULGARIAN TOUR OPERATORS

Italy has been held. Its goal was to give important information to potentially interested companies, like investing opportunities, industrial strategies, tax and incentive systems currently in force in Bulgaria. Sectorial focuses have been offered to the participants companies, and one specific session was entirely dedicated to alternative funding systems and to the cycle of EU planning 2014-2020. Relations will be made by: Bulgarian Ambassador in Rome, Bulgarian representatives (InvestBulgaria, BSMEPA) and two CCIE Sofia representatives. Public: 40/50 Umbria’s region companies. MASTERPIECE OF WORLD OPERA – On the occasion of Christmas Celebrations

At the end of the Italian semester presidency of the EU, the CCIE Sofia foresees for the organization of an opera concert conducted by maestro Luciano De Martino which is holding at the Opera House. By now the Italian Concerts have become a tradition and a way to highlight the Italian community presence in Bulgaria. It has been chosen to submit programs containing arias, duets and ensembles of the most popular Italian operas, performed by singers in Bulgaria, as well as some of the most famous folk Italian songs.
