Pavilion A pavilion to display two scultpures in the Christian Science Center Plaza in Boston was designed with three specific apertures in mind. One frames the brise-soleils on a building across the reflecting pool. Another frames the sky as an ominous blue space with no connection to the outside. The third brings the brick pavers between the trees into the pavilion in the form of benches.

Museum Stairs Three cubic spaces with a solid box were given as an initial site. Two paintings were to be installed into these spaces, that were redesigned for lighting, flow, and aperture. This design follows an octagonal/hexagonal shape with limited right angles, as well as upward diagonal light portals..
