Investing in Innovation How lucky we are that Texas ranks in the top of many lists for its philanthropy! Philanthropic supporters do more than simply “keep the lights on” for many nonprofit organizations. Philanthropists are investing in innovation to support our community. Camp Fire First Texas has as a long-standing track record of innovative programs built on these investments. From creating a resident camp which supports grieving children, to tackling the issue of preparing ALL children to be “school ready” when they enter elementary school, to the most recent launch of a new Early Education Apprenticeship Program

(EEAP), the ability to conceive and enact vital programs is a direct result of philanthropic support.
