Who is responsible?
Officials say the death toll at the collapsed clothing factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh has topped 500. Nine people have been arrested in connection with the tradgedy including the owner of the building and those connected to its construction. High Street stores like Primark and Matalan have also offered help to the families affected because of their involvement in the clothing industries in developing countries. What are your thoughts on who is responsible for these deaths? Is it our fault for buying cheap clothes? What state would these countries be in if we didn’t buy them?
