The Salford Museum & Art Gallery and the WorkingClass Movement Library can also be found on the University of Salford campus.
The village is conveniently located with the Frederick Road campus on your doorstep and the main Peel Park campus and its facilities just a 15-minute walk away.
There’s a host of different room types to choose from at a range of prices. We have flats specifically suited to first-year students and others that are more popular with returning residents and postgraduates looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.
The village is particularly popular with nursing and healthcare |students, with the Mary Seacole and Allerton Building on the Frederick Road campus just a short walk away. In addition, both Salford Royal Hospital and Manchester’s city centre hospitals are easily accessible either by foot, car or public transport.

On-site, you’ll have access to a communal kitchen, quiet study spaces, as well as laundry facilities and a free on-site gym, which is exclusively for the use of John Lester & Eddie Colman residents.
Over at the main Peel Park campus, you’ll find the university Clifford Whitworth library, University Support Services, Sports Centre, student store and the lively Students’ Union bar, Atmosphere.
The village is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Salford Shopping Centre with its supermarkets, retail shops and eateries. Getting around Salford and into Manchester couldn’t be easier. There are plenty of regular and direct buses to Manchester city centre, or you can walk it in 30 minutes. University of Salford students studying at MediaCityUK can take advantage of free travel on the dedicated bus service, which runs past the village and onto Salford Quays.

We know how much fun living with your friends can be, which is why we make it easy for you to book a flat together. Our flats come in clusters of either two, three, or four. You will all have individual contracts for your own room, and with all bills included, there is no need to worry about splitting the cost.
Our Customer Contact Village can arrange a face-to-face or virtual viewing. A member of the Village Team will take you on a tour of the village and show you the range of room types available.

Our dedicated team are there to ensure you remain safe and comfortable during your stay with us. They are passionate about resident experience, and work hard to build the strong village communities which we know you’ll grow to love. Should you experience any problems or have any questions, they will always be on hand to help.
The on-site team provide fast repairs and will get you back up and running should you encounter any problems. Their focus is to ensure the building remains safe and compliant and are your go-to people if you need help with any odd jobs in your flat.
The high cleaning standards of our villages are maintained by a team of committed housekeepers. They ensure all public areas of the village are kept as hygienic as possible and are on-hand to resolve any issues that might arise.
Our friendly Village Teams are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year (including all UK Bank holidays). This is to ensure you always have someone to speak to should you need our help or support.
We regularly review and update our safety policies, in line with Government guidance, as well as relevant health authorities.
All our villages have CCTV installed, and access in and around the buildings is operated with a secure key card/fob system. In addition, all bedrooms can be locked with your access keys.

Bronze Rooms are great value for money and come with everything you need, including a single bed, study desk, and chair and wardrobe. You’ll share a bathroom and kitchen with your flatmates in either a three or four-bed flat.
