Going on a trip. Need about four outfits. I’ve packed 35 just to be safe. My husband doesn’t always perform a full maintenance check on the car, but when he does, it’s when the whole family is packed and sitting in the car ready to go on a road trip. It doesn’t matter how old you get, buying snacks for a road trip should always look like an unsupervised nine-year-old was given $100.

As a Camrose Booster Sales Consultant…

It’s not a family vacation until someone threatens to throw a prized possession from a moving vehicle. My favourite childhood memory is someone else paying for my holidays. No one is full of more false hope than a parent organizing car ride activities before a long road trip.

You will be trained and positioned to professionally represent all services provided by The Camrose Booster:

Parents don’t really go on vacation. They just take care of their kids in a different place.

Before getting married, you should be required to go on a road trip. If your relationship can survive 10 or more hours of your partner panic gasping every time you speed up and change lanes, you’re meant to be.

Central Agencies Realty Home of the Week

Beautiful Daysland home

I thought I wanted a career. Turns out I just want a paycheque to fund my holidays. It’s not a family road trip without the instant regret of taking a family road trip. Just heard someone asking for directions in a gas station like our forefathers did. My husband suggests that I sleep when we take road trips, but then who would give him helpful information like, “The light is red!” or “That car is stopping!”? When y’all see me in my swimsuit at the beach, mind your own business. I thought we were going to die for the last two years so I’ve been snacking. I just realized the paper towels by the gas pump are for wiping away tears after filling your gas tank.

The benefits of a small community close enough to all the city amenities await you in this beautiful two-storey home located in the town of Daysland. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper level of the home offer plenty of space for your growing family, but there is more. The basement has a fully developed suite that would be perfect for an income rental or a fully contained in-law suite. Once you step inside, you will stand in awe of the grand curved staircase that anchors the front entry. A large front living room features a bayed window where you can arrange a cozy sitting area, then the living room flows seamlessly into a dining area and open kitchen. Imagine preparing meals for the family or gathering friends around the island in this wonderful kitchen– the hub of the home. Lots of counter space, a centre island with cooktop, and double ovens will inspire you to cook up a storm. Then move into the sunken family room with the chateau-like brick

fireplace to enjoy conversations or cuddling. The sunroom is another great place to gather and take in all the seasons. Completing the main floor is a convenient two-piece powder room and spacious laundry. Retreat to the upper floor and a bonus room that would be perfect for a children’s play area, the primary bedroom complete with a gorgeous updated en suite and walk-in closet, three more bedrooms and a renovated four-piece main bathroom. The basement suite has a large living area with adjoining fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a threepiece bathroom. A separate entrance allows for privacy for everyone. Take in the great outdoors sitting on the two-tiered deck overlooking the fully fenced backyard with a large concrete patio area. Enjoy raising your family in a small town atmosphere in this beautiful home located at 5101-58 Street, Daysland and priced well within budget at $330,000. Make sure you take binoculars when you go on your once-a-year hiking trip so when you take frequent stops, it looks like you’re appreciating God’s creation and not fighting for your life. My husband just told me he wants a divorce. Actually, his exact words were “I think it would be cool for the whole family to live in an RV and travel the country for a year,” but tomato to-mah-to. Parents: Oh good, the hotel has a pool. Also, oh no, the hotel has a pool. First “normal” summer in two years and each day is costing $500. If you see me packing for a 10-day trip while sweating, cussing and dropping fruit snacks on the ground, just know that we’re actually just going to the pool and we will be home in about an hour. Barbecue at my house tomorrow. Bring a grill and some meat. I’ve got paper plates. Sleeping is hard in the summer because blankets are too warm, but without them, I am vulnerable to monsters. Europeans: “I drove for 45 minutes to spend a weekend in France, then stopped in Germany to visit some friends on my way home.” Canadians: “I was in southern Alberta and I drove north for 12 hours. Now I’m still in Alberta.” We’ve reached the stage of our roadtrip with children when I’m hiding in a gas station bathroom for some peace and quiet. There should be sympathy cards for having to go back to work after a vacation.
