EACH DAY, EACH CHILD WILL GROW

Welcome to the Rock Academy Early Education Center. Just as Jesus valued and put a high priority on children, we do too! Through the many years of working with children and families, it has become clear to me that “In the Heart of a Child, One Moment ... Can Last Forever” - Wess Stafford I am truly grateful for the Lord’s leading and the plethora of opportunities He has provided to interact with young children. In the 35+ years of working in the field of Early Education, I have been richly blessed to come alongside more than 4,000 children. My passion is to communicate how “fearfully and wonderfully” God has created them, to be one of their biggest cheerleaders and give them the confidence to try new experiences. It is not uncommon to find me playing my autoharp and singing with the children, praying with children, letting them know how much Jesus loves them, or just giving hugs and affirmation. “I have become convinced that if God stands a child before you, for even just a minute, it is a divine appointment.” - Wess Stafford Everywhere we look we see glimpses of God. Spiritual development is our foundation and is interwoven into everything we do. Here at the Rock we want to introduce children to the loving God who created them, built a world for them and wants to be part of their everyday life. A typical day for us at the Rock Academy Early Education Center involves enthusiastic learning, laughter, demonstrating love, limitless energy, developing friendships, joyful spirits, captivating exploration, building upon prior knowledge, and respecting one another. We are here to: • Create environments that are “safe and nurturing” • Create environments where children are “ecstatic” to learn about the world God created for them • Create environments where they “know” how special they are and how much Jesus loves them • Create environments where children are “delighted” to learn and connect with others • Create partnerships with parents and “support” the role God has given them • Create environments where those in the field of EE are “equipped and trained” to carry out the work required Blessed to serve the Lord, children, and families,
