On behalf of the whole CampusOne team, thank you for choosing us as your new home away from home We are excited to welcome you and be part of your academic journey.

We understand that moving can be stressful, however, our aim is to make your experience smooth and efficient In order to achieve this and help get you settled into your new home as quickly as possible, we ask for your assistance in completing the necessary prerequisites and adhering to the guidelines outlined in this document prior to check-in:

Our approach this year is as follows:

Respecting your time with an efficient move-in – To allow for a smooth move-in process, you will be directed to complete and confirm your move-in requirements prior to arriving and moving in

First-In-Class Customer Service at Move-In: For those who complete the move-in process you will experience a full service move-in that will include:

Professional Movers, providing move-In services including unloading and moving your personal affect up to your unit

A Residence Life welcome and entrance tour.

Hospitality and welcome swag.

Reduced paperwork if you complete all the required move-in process prior to your arrival (see Page 3)

Free one-day parking off site

Move-in can be an exciting and stressful experience. Our intent is to make the day as enjoyable and easy as possible. In order to ensure an efficient move-in process, we will provide details and suggestions for check-in

Please note that no one can check in on your behalf.

Please reference your room assignment notice for your specific move-in time. We ask that you respect the schedule and arrive at your designated time to ensure a smooth process for all tenants

Planning to move-in late? Please let us know if you plan on arriving later than your scheduled move-in date after September 1, 2023. You can do this by filling out our online late arrival form. Click here.

Please be advised:

You will not be permitted to move-in earlier than August 31 2023

Elevators cannot be reserved and tenants should expect longer than normal wait times during move-in.

We will have moving assistance from professional movers on August 31 to September 1 to help expedite your move-in.

On the day of your arrival please ensure you are following all instructions provided and any posted signage including signage for unloading parking.

The unloading area will be on the main loading dock and tenants will be required to move their vehicles immediately after they have been unloaded

You are available to reserve your move-in spot during the following dates:

Saturday, August 31, 2024

Sunday, September 1, 2024

In order to prepare for your move-in, we ask you to fill out and confirm your move-in Date and Time through our Move-In Reservation Date and Time Booking Form

From August 31 to September 1, we have a VIP move-in experience, where movers will assist with delivering your items to your door This will help expedite your move-in Movers will be assigned their own elevator to expedite delivery of your items to your front door Movers will deliver your items to your suite and you must be in your suite ready to accept your belongings!

Once you select a move-in date and time, we will confirm via email with additional move-in procedures.

We understand that not all residents will be able to move-in on the selected dates. The Late Arrival Form will allow you to provide what your plans will be for your arrival date and time.

Please let us know if you plan to arrive later than September 1, 2024, you can do this by filling out Late Arrival Form.

The August 25th Move In Date will be offered on a first come first serve basis.

All Pre-Move-In checklist and forms must be completed:

Complete the electronic early movein application.

Complete all your payment including: Early move-in fee of $410.00 on let.us/pay/campus1

First & last Month Rent paid in full September 1st Meal plan installment (if applicable) paid.

Sign the early move-in addendum which will be emailed to you the week of August 12, 2024.

After August 25th, CampusOne will continue preparing the remainder of the bedrooms and suites.

You will see and hear contractors working throughout the entire building.

Be advised that your room may need touch ups after the early move-in

We look forward to welcoming you and having you a part of the CampusOne community.

CampusOne residence life activities and welcome week will start on August 31st, 2024.

By now you already now your Unit and Bedroom number. A list of your roommates and contacts was provided as well.

Have you contacted your roommates yet? Your Res Life Journey starts now, make sure to initiate the conversation and start planning your suite arrangements.

Talk to your roommates before you move-in about common items you can share. For example, you may not want to end up with 4 sets of boot mats!

See the “What to Bring” section for some suggestions on what to pack.

Gather the necessities only!

Please Do NOT bring a moving truck or trailer attached to your vehicle. Due to the limited space for unloading and parking vehicles, we cannot accommodate large moving trucks or trailers in the unloading area.

Remember, your room is already furnished!

We provide fully furnished accommodations so some items are restricted. Please refer to your handbook as items such as couches, mattresses, and other soft goods will not be permitted

Start the year on the right foot with your roommates, you can surprise them with a welcome gift, and attend the welcome week events!

Don't forget to establish your unit rules in the Roommate Agreement, and remember that communication is key

If you are moving-in in your personal car/taxi/uber please read the following instructions carefully on how to enter, unload, and immediately exit CampusOne's loading dock

CampusOne is in a city center location, please follow all municipal signs and traffic by-laws

The unloading area will be in the main loading dock and tenants will be required to move their vehicles immediately after unloading. The Driver MUST stay in the vehicle

There is NO parking in the loading dock.

Residents are responsible for the cost of parking off site

Please inquire with our staff if off-property parking is available

Important notice:

CampusOne main entrance and loading dock entrance are located on College Street, this street has a high car, cyclist, and pedestrian traffic at all times. When turning into the loading dock, please be mindful and use your rearview mirror to confirm there are no bicycles/pedestrians/cars coming through the bike lane/sidewalk/street, and more important, do not block the bike lane!

CAR

Due to the number of residents moving in during a short period, it is VERY important that these steps are followed. If you have any questions, please let us know, we are happy to assist you and guide you in the right direction

CampusOne has a large loading driveway / dock that you will need to pull into to check-in and unload your items

Know your booked arrival time & please arrive on time to move-in We will have staff to direct you at arrival, via our loading dock lanes. Staff will direct you to one of the 5 loading spots. The driver must stay in your vehicle during drop-off

Residents will require to identify themselves using government issued ID. Staff will process your move-in at the loading dock. Have prepared your Proof of Renter's Insurance, your Payment Receipts, the pre-Move-In Form Receipt, and proof of completion of online consent training (UofT students Only) in case we ask for it

You will be provided with your Welcome Packet The Packets will include your Suite/Unit Keys Keep them with you at all times We ask that only one person accompany you up to your unit and room during move-in.

If you are arriving by car, CampusOne may have temporary parking available at the HURON Street location parking lot You will be invited to register your car for complimentary parking for your arrival day only Overnight and multiple day parking will be at your own expense. ANY CAR LEFT UNATTENDED AND PARKED IN CAMPUSONE LOADING DOCK WILL BE TICKETED AND TOWED AT OWNERS EXPENSE.

If you arriving by foot from a local transport hub We will welcome you at the 1st Floor of the building as we will have a service desk to process your arrival. *All items of the Pre-Move-In must be completed

If you are arriving at a later date, we will not have movers to assist your move You will be required to transport your items to your unit

CampusOne Staff will be communicating with you through different ways to share important notices; building updates, Res Life events, and more
